A Mighty Journey

The second feature episode of 'A Mighty Journey' is a story about Jean-Sébastien Giguère –– a beloved figure in Anaheim Ducks history. He was the youngest of five in a family where hockey was everything. Theirs was a full household with two parents dedicating their lives to their children, whose greatest strength was love for one another. “JS”, as he’s known to all, has always been more than a goaltender… he’s a model character whose love for his family, friends, teammates and the sport of hockey fueled his desire to be great in life. In this journey, we see a young French-Canadian goaltender from Blainville, Quebec, who was destined to alter the course of his life, career and an entire franchise – a life that truly came full circle as if it was always supposed to happen that way.
