A Nice Little Spot
by Heather Fisher
Hi everyone! Welcome to A Nice Little Spot. My name is Heather Fisher and I am your host. I’m 44 years old, I’m autistic, and I’m the mom of three beautiful cats: Salt Lick Dale Junior, Addie LaRue, and Lucky Day aka Marvin. When I was diagnosed with autism in my early 40s, I quickly learned that talking about it made people uncomfortable, which wasn’t anything new. I have been making people uncomfortable for decades by talking openly about my mental health. I think that sucks, and people should be able to talk about their lives and struggles free of shame and stigma. So I started this podcast as a safe place for people to be their authentic selves and to talk about whatever they want without fear of judgment.
