How small changes, kindness and consideration can change the world.In this podcast we try to find ways for everyday normal folks to make small changes in their lives in an attempt to better themselves and the people close to them. It just takes one small pebble to create a ripple that changes everything. Lets figure out together how to create the change we all want to see in this world.

    In this episode I talk about the reason for the major delay between episodes. I tell a VERY personal story of the last time I let my anger the best of me. And I discuss the power of the emotion for better and for worse and mention a few things I have done to help control my own anger.

    In this episode I discuss the idea of redemption and how it has important significance to folks of faith and folks without. This is the first episode I've recorded that I let myself go and truly recorded as a "free flowing thought" episode.     In this episode I discuss the meaning of regret and the effects it has on our lives. I talk about the difference between simple wondering and reflection and regret and tell a few stories from different sources. This episode took a few tries to get through it, it was a heavy topic and it took a lot to reign in my emotions well enough to get through it.     In this episode I discuss the concept of hope and what it means. I talk about hope as a metric in relationships and how this podcast and my Tiktok channel are both decent representations of hope moving forward.     In this episode I talk about the concept of living IN appreciation. A concept I personally struggle with often. I give some tips and ideas that I have used personally to practice living more deliberately and with appreciation. This is the first episode where I recorded the entire episode in one take with no editing as I am looking towards recording live very soon!

I talk about some disrespect I've both shown and endured recently and I give some ways for you to practice showing respect for yourself, and others.

    Happy New Year!

    In this episode I talk about why I have a bit of a distaste for the concept of "New Year" as it's celebrated. But I also explain why this year has brought about a whole new way of seeing and appreciating that I never could have expected. I tell a quick story about a missed New Year party opportunity for a friend of mine. And I finish the episode with a special song that we all know, and even now it brings a tear to my eye with its beauty.

    Merry Christmas everyone!! In this episode I tell a story about being a young me, full of dumb and overexcited about presents. I talk about some of the bad aspects of the holiday for folks that deal with depression or have lost family and friends. I mention a few lesser known Christmas facts. And I inadvertently break into reenacting of my favorite moment in any Christmas movie.

    Episode 7 - Storytime

    In this episode I tell a few stories that illustrate different ways of taking actions to change the world. The first story is a look back at one evening I had as a Guardian Angel, and how my partner and I were able to change the course of a young girls life. The second story is a listener submitted story that details briefly what it means to love yourself despite abuse and neglect. And the third story is about one of the greatest gifts and kindnesses I've ever received. A gift that changed my life forever.

    Episode 6 - "The Main Character"

    In this episode I discuss "Main Character Syndrome". What is it? And how is it affecting people in good and bad ways? I also discuss some of my stances on some of my favorite pop culture properties and how they tie in to main character thinking....if you're a Ferris Bueller fan...this one is for you.(Note: I did have a bit of a sound issue and it required some re-recording and editing tricks, so please be patient with me as I continue to try and figure it all out)

    In this episode we talk about the concept and importance of self love. I read our first ever listener submitted letter (a great one). And I give a few ideas and suggestions for really practicing loving yourself. I also detail my favorite exercise to truly figure out how to appreciate your strengths.

    In this episode I discuss the meaning of empathy and how it is both a blessing and a curse for some empaths. I talk about the different types of empathy and give methods for trying to exercise and strengthen your empathic abilities. And, of course, we have our usual quotes. This episode just scratches the surface of the topic, and I still ran over by 15 minutes. It's a weighty topic.

    In this episode we discuss the basic concepts of kindness and how it has been woefully understudied until recently. We illustrate the difference between "Nice" and "Kind", and we give few ideas on how to be consciously kind to people in your life.
