Episode 32 Jennifer Kaylor with Students in the Word
Jennifer Kaylor, Executive Director of Students in the Word, joins us to talk about this Bible based ministry offered to High School and Middle School students during the school day. Student's in the Word is a local, no-profit organization, based in Pawleys Island, SC. It began in 2009 as a way to provide Bible education classes to High School students. Today the classes are provided to High School and Middle School students at public Middle and High Schools in Pawleys Island and soon will be offered at Georgetown High. Classes are for credit and grades are given. Classes meet off campus and no public funds are used to pay for any of the expenses of these classes. Episode 31 Antonio Robinson
19 year old Pawleys Island resident, Antonio Robinson, joins us to talk about his growing up life in Minnesota and Georgia and when he moved to Pawleys Island in High School. He talks about life on Sandy Island, an inland island surrounded by the Waccamaw River on one side, the Pee Dee river on the other side and no roads or bridges to the mainland. I first met Antonio when he was jumping over hurdles at a Track and Field meet at Waccamaw High. Antonio currently is a Freshman at Coastal Carolina University and works part time at Island Specialties store in Pawleys Island. You will thoroughly enjoy listening to Antonio talk about his life, his family and giving a shoutout to his friends.

Episode 30 Lynne Ford
Lynne Ford grew up in New York City. She moved to Pawleys Island when she was 12 years old because this was her parents' hometown. Lynne attended the Waccamaw School, then Winyah High School. After she received her Undergraduate and Graduate degrees in Journalism , Lynne worked in several interesting jobs on the East Coast and in the Southeast. When she was 30, Lynne returned to Pawleys Island to visit her parents. While there, she met the love of her life, got married, and never left. We are so happy that this beautiful, joyful, intelligent woman is part of the fabric of Pawleys Island and Georgetown County. You will thoroughly enjoy hearing about Lynne's journey and her years of continuing service here in Georgetown County.

Episode 21 Santa Claus on the Coast!
Santa Claus owns a home in Murrells Inlet, SC. He purchased a home here after his daughter moved here. So Santa and Mrs. Claus spend time in our area when they are not busy at the North Pole. When we found out that Santa was visiting his Murrells Inlet home, we just had to get a quick interview with him before he heads back up to the North Pole for his Christmas Eve flight around the world. You will enjoy hearing all about Santa's days here along the SC Coast. We also talk about how logistics and technology help to modernize the world-wide delivery process of toys on Christmas Eve. Episode 18 Fr. Patrick Stenson
In honor of Veteran's Day, we interviewed Fr. Pat Stenson, former Pastor of Precious Blood of Christ Catholic Church in Pawleys Island. Fr. Pat was born and ordained in Ireland. Eventually he came to the United States, became a U.S. citizen and a U.S. Army Chaplain 18 years. After leaving the Army, he was assigned to the Old Soldiers home in Washington, D.C. Next was his assignment to Precious Blood of Christ in Pawleys Island, SC. Fr. Pat served as Pastor for 17 years and now still says Mass, officiates at weddings, baptisms and funerals in Pawleys Island, Garden City and around the country. You will thoroughly enjoy hearing about all his adventures and all the ministries that he started.
