Ultimately we engage with the movie's subtle question to the viewer: Would you take the substance?

"y'all why is shrek the superior rom com?" a conversation about "bad" rom-coms
It's that time again! For those unaware, it's that time me and Zo rant about rom-coms and the many implications of them for an hour and you all listen. Hope y'all are still 'in the mood for love' (please go watch that movie and have your brain rewired) because in this episode, we get into our least favorite rom-coms, tropes, and why Cameron Diaz should've gotten the FUCK away from that white man in 'My Best friend's wedding'. Also if there's anything to learn from this episode is that Shrek is the superior rom-com (and Aurelise forgot to mention "Something Borrowed" (2011) sucks).
