Beat the Tough Times - Be in Control
This week we’re going to be talking about dealing with tough times. Not just dealing with tough times, but beating them. You’ve been there, all of a sudden the world seems to have you in its sights. You look outside and it’s a bright sunny day but when you go out, you look up and BOOM! There’s a dark cloud spitting lightening right over the top of you. What to do? That’s what we’re going to deal with this week. Today we’re going to discuss getting yourself in control, as hard as that sounds. If your tough times are like mine, you’re not going to be able to control most of what’s going on around you and the only thing you’ve got any shot at controlling is how you react. And how you act. Believe it or not – and it’s hard to believe when the lightening is striking all around you – how you react and act makes all the difference in the world. It can actually turn a disaster into a good thing. Really. Bottom line is you really don’t have to react immediately so take a deep breath and back away from the attack. Don’t react, think it through and act.

Next, we began fixing the problem by focusing on the solution not the problem and then we let our positive attitude become contagious and defeat the problem. Today, our final day, we're going to remember that today is not the end. You will get through this successfully. You've done it before, you'll do it today, and you'll do it again when it happens again. Because it will. But that's OK.
