Escape and return
This is the story of Smiljan, a Dalmatian who one day in the mid-1950s decided to flee his homeland. He crossed the Adriatic Sea in a tiny rowing boat equipped with a small sail and arrived in Italy, and from there he travelled to Australia. But life is a circle, and at a certain point Smiljan returns to his island, not to erase his journey, but to give it meaning. Ulysses returns to Ithaca and finds it new, because he himself has changed.
