    Today, we talked with Sherrie about the H2A Program. Sherrie Mitchell is a Senior Casework Manager for Congressman Rick Crawford in Jonesboro, Arkansas. The H2A program allows U.S. employers or U.S. agents who meet specific regulatory requirements to bring foreign nationals to the United States to fill temporary agricultural jobs. Our farmers and ranchers depend on the H2A program to help fill the gap for their labor needs. She is a graduate student at the University of Arkansas getting her master's in Agricultural and Extension Education with a focus in Leadership. She grew up in Bailey, Arkansas, where she was first introduced to agriculture on her family's beef cattle operation. She attend the University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville for her associate's degree. She finished her bachelor's degree at the University of Arkansas, majoring in agricultural communications. After she graduated with her bachelor's degree in May 2024, Natasha decided to continue her education at the University of Arkansas by pursuing her master's degree.
