We're sticking with conspiracies - sorry, Russia. This week, we're diving into the story of Paul Bennewitz and the mysterious, super real Dulce Base. We're exploring claims of underground alien-human collaborations, secret government experiments, and eerie transmissions detected near Kirtland Air Force Base in New Mexico. Was Bennewitz a brilliant mind uncovering extraterrestrial truth, or the victim of a calculated government disinformation campaign? We don’t know.

Welcome to Conspiracies with the Girls, we needed a break from Russia (and kind of aliens) so this week we're diving into Hollow Earth Theory - heard of it? Me either. We'll start with Edmond Halley and his attempt to explain Earth’s magnetic field, then we'll trace how this centuries-old idea evolved into theories about hidden civilizations, polar entrances (shoutout the Arctics), and even a possible inner sun (much to Michael's dismay). From ancient myths like Shamballa to explorers like Richard E. Byrd, we'll unpack the line between science, legend, and conspiracy before asking the real question: what if aliens aren’t from space at all… but have been living here the entire time. 

Kirsan Ilyumzhinov, former president of Kalmykia (Russia) and chess enthusiast, claims he was abducted by aliens from his Moscow apartment in 1997. One of the only alien abduction claims ever made by a sitting political leader. In this episode, we break down his account of being taken aboard a spacecraft by humanoid beings in yellow (track) suits. Was it a genuine extraterrestrial experience, a dream, or something else entirely.

Okay so Michael and I YAPPED this week - Julia wasn't here to keep us on track so it's actually not our fault. The story starts at the 18-minute mark for those who want to get right into it. This week we're taking a break from the glowing orbs and heading into space with two of our favorite Cosmonauts - but they're not the only ones up there… cue the eerie music.

In this episode of Aliens with the Girls, we head to Dalnegorsk, Russia - though by listening to the way we pronounce it you would have never guested. Regardless, it's home to one of the most mysterious UFO incidents ever recorded, often referred to as “Russia’s Roswell.” On January 29, 1986, witnesses watched a glowing red sphere fly silently over the remote Soviet town before crashing into a hillside on the outskirts of town. Civilian investigator Yuri Golubev examined the site and uncovered strange physical evidence, including metallic droplets fused into rock, glassy residue, and microscopic mesh structures unlike any known technology. Laboratory analysis revealed unusually pure metals with properties that puzzled scientists and offered no clear explanation. With no identifiable aircraft debris and no official answers, the Dalnegorsk crash remains one of the Cold War’s most compelling unexplained aerial phenomena. Was this advanced military tech, a natural anomaly, or something not of this world? The girls investigate.

It's officially season 3 of AWTG!! And this season, we're in mother Russia.  Last week we had Michael host, and this week Sid's bestie CC is joining us to share her thoughts on everything Aliens.
