After months of wrangling (and lack of final commitment from Pete), we finally got our second guest on the pod to sit down and chat about travel. A friend from childhood, Dave isn't just your ordinary travel guest, he's also a 5 times marathon runner, has run countless F1 tracks (they could be counted, but Pete forgot to ask), and is here mainly to talk about running across both Liechtenstein and San Marino! We are back! After 1 year away due to *insert excuses*, the pod is back. Welcome to the All We See Book Club as Pete and Mel begin to dissect their epic 2018/19 overland adventure from Alaska to Argentina. Off the back of completing that trip, Pete turned it into a book and so as part of the All We Three section of the pod (despite there being only two of us at this point of the journey) we decided to sit down and re-live the trip one page at a time. This episode primarily introduces the details of the trip. Any occasional background disturbances are due to Pete loving this book so much he kept running his hand over the pages throughout the recording (note to self - do not do that going forward!).
