The set in the video was the last set, grip didn't feel quite right so I reset for the last rep. I finished up with five sets of five reps with standing overhead press, sometimes called millitary press. Monday I will add another set of three reps. I don't work myself up to lift, rather I attempt to stay in a state of relaxxed focus, and dial in the movement.

I read an article about an old school training method by Doug Hepburn where 8 sets of 2 reps is gradually progressed to 8 sets of 3 reps, and thought I would try it with deadlifts. As written, in each workout one of the sets of two is increased to a set of three. I started with a moderate weight for me, 245 pounds, so next workout I'll likely bump up two of the sets to three reps. I'm 53, and about 195 pounds at 6'1. The video is just the first and last in the 8 sets.

Earlier during a Comcisgate Kings Youtube program Dan Fraga had an emotionally charged discussion and argued with Ethan Van Sciver, Jon Malin, and Shane Davis over treatment of former Comicsgate associates Patrick Thomas Parnell, Phil Diaz, and others. Van Sciver's audience reacted with anger and began sending multiple superchats so that Van Sciver would read their condemnation of Dan Fraga during the program. Fraga had just unwittingly volunteered as Comicsgate's next villain. Does it sound ridiculous that a group who alleged purpose is to use Youtube to finance and promote comic books, has an "enemies list", it is ridiculous but it also appears to be lucrative. It's an interesting mechanism to extract money from a group conditioned to be reactionary. It follows that Comicsgate has a direct financial incentive to generate ongoing conflicts, and that is appears to be a reliable mechanism for Comicsgate to extract revenue from a demonstrably gullible audience. For aspiring creators who are more interested in producing meaningful stories and art, that contrived conflicts with marginal personalities, they should perhaps consider keeping Comcisgate at several arms lengths. The conflicts may have real world consequence Van Sciver and Comcisgate on more than one occasion have encouraged fans to target creators and critical fans with harassment or annoyance. I my home County in North Carolina there is a political advocacy group, CAAG (Citizen Advocates for Accountability in Government), also pronounced "kag". The group has come under heavy fire for their endorsement and promotion of a local character name Ronald Johnson who was just convited for felony extortion, on Friday January 17, 2025. CAAG spent $1,000s to re-elect Ronald Johnson to our Board of Education. This clip is going to be the source of great laughter in my County, and it seemed appropriate to host it here.
