To be clear this is not youtube's fault: - Lately youtube managed to show how monetization can be profitable for the artists and the labels. - Many that could see that this is good and profitable (as opposed to negative) are now receiving profits that otherwise they would never get. - The label and the artist can get more money for their work, not only limited to album sales, monetizing mixes on youtube - and other platforms - can be an all new cascade of revenue. Sadly some labels still live in the past and enforce a negative policy of blocking all their signed artists worldwide! I wish this mix can bring some awareness, to that labels and their enforcers: - enforce monetizing, protect musicians but give'm a voice on the world wide web!
