    Alters that front can get confused about the inner world vs the outside world . It’s like living in the in between place of both realms of existence. This can be very confusing for the whole system in general. The rules are different in each world and sometimes this can cause major issues within your system.

    Sad Part About Switching With Adam Anderson

    Besides the trauma that created DID in the first place. The second-hardest part of DID is switching. When I mean hard I mean it’s very very sad indeed. Switching is a protective response to childhood trauma. Your brain learned to do this as a way to deal with the trauma you experienced. Switching is not entertainment but it’s a safety blanket for the abused. #did

Kevin is 17 years old, and he is intense and opinionated.  He can cause issues within the system and so as the host me Benjamin I have to make the peace sometimes between alters. Having DID is a very complex thing the brain does. Hopefully we will see more Scientific research in this area.

    How We Found Out We Had DID with Rachel and Ben Anderson

    In this episode we have a switch with Rachel Anderson. Rachel is main trauma holder within our system. This switch was very unexpected but it happened. I did not mean to trigger the system, but I think I did by mistake. Warning this episode has very strong language.
