And Your 2023 Season Champion Is...
It's Super Bowl week, the week when champions are rightly celebrated for their excellence and valor. This year's AJFFL champ was an impressive competitor from the start of the season to the very end, with one of the best drafts in the history of our league, some solid waiver adds, and a key trade that paid off at the most important moment. Congrats to Ryan! All others bow in honor and fear... Seriously, great season, guys! I love doing this with y'all! See you at the 2024 draft.

Week 16: One Final Guest and League Voice Messages
This week's special guest knows two things: fantasy football and fried chicken. David Haigh is no chicken, but he knows chicken. In this episode, David tells us about the best chicken tender you've never heard of, and then he calls his shot: It's championship or bust. Also, the league end-of-season voice messages start at around 17:30. LYLAB!

Week 11 Recap, Draft Review and Power Rankings Update
In retrospect, I think I made that trade with Tyler based 40% on the excitement of the moment, 30% on really liking Tyler and wanting to see his team make an epic comeback, 20% out of frustration with Tony Pollard, and 10% or less because I believed in Garrett Wilson. But the Jets are dog $#!+ though, right? Happy Thanksgiving, guys! I'm thankful for you!

Week 9: Interesting or Interested?
Frankly, this league could sustain the loss of any member except for one man: league-mom Steve Zaytoun. It was only when Steve joined the league and started hosting the draft that this thing really ascended. You bastards better tell him thank you!! "Do not imagine that if you meet a really humble man he will be what most people call 'humble' nowadays: He will not be a sort of greasy, smarmy person, who is always telling you that, of course, he is nobody. Probably all you will think about him is that he seemed a cheerful, intelligent chap who took a real interest in what you said to him. If you do dislike him it will be because you feel a little envious of anyone who seems to enjoy life so easily. He will not be thinking about humility; He will not be thinking about himself at all." - C.S. Lewis

Week 8: Airing Grievances
I was certain that Xan's complaints against his commissioner-podcaster would prove unwarranted... But I was wrong, and I'm sorry. Also, if you haven't watched the Bear yet, what are you even doing with your life?!

Week 7: "Dadaddy, why your team so bad?"
No son should have to watch his father struggle the way I've watched mine do this season. The fact that he's historically the best performer in this league makes this season that much more painful. Fortunately there's someone who's never lost faith or pride in their "dadaddy." Also, who's interested in joining the Crooked Creek FGL?!?

Week 5: The Journey of Love is Inefficient
You guys remember Sean Klem? I feel like he and I had a complicated relationship, in that I thought he was really cool but also sort of hated him for being cool friends with all my same friends... Say, whatever happened to that girl I called a spinster cat-lady?... Anyways, this episode isn't about them, it's about Patrick Meiburg and the journey he's on. I'm glad to have walked along side him at times in this journey, almost certainly better than Sean Klem has. Also, thank God Tracy didn't drop Breece Hall!

Week 3: Heart-Oriented Episode
I used to think that people with big brains and little hearts were the best. Now I know better. This week's episode is all about love, vulnerability, healing, and hope... but still with a healthy dose of the s*** talkin' you've come to expect after three episodes. Enjoy!

Week 2: The Cleveland Episode
If the city of Cleveland was a man, that man would be Tyler E------. Setting aside the various ways that Tyler has been successful and good at things through his life, he's a lot like Cleveland. In this episode, after checking in on the scoreboard and standings, Tyler gives an update on the City of Cleveland, the company of ESPN, and the man himself. Enjoy!
