November 19, 2024 --  in this edition of Art Waves, we talk with the new Director of the Mendocino Art Center Dav Bell, followed by a report on Mendocino High School’s nomination as a finalist in the NPR Student Podcast Contest, and we wrap up the program with details on the Mendocino College Ceramic Club’s December sale event.

October 15, 2024 --  This month on Art Waves, we kick off with a conversation about the renovation of Mendocino High School’s student-powered radio station building. Then, we’re joined in the studio by Dan McDonnell and Jainned Boon McDonnell to discuss the Goat House Players' presentation of TIME PIECE, a unique musical pantomime. 

This month's edition of Art waves we celebrate the Hispanic Heritage month and the contributions of the Latino community to the arts and culture of Mendocino county. We begin the program with a conversation with Ignacio Ayala, Latino Program Director and Deputy Director for SPACE theater in Ukiah, followed by a conversation with Brazilian classical dancer instructor and KZYX's DJ Aline Jalfim.We end the program with Eddie Haehl interviewing with the two new heads of Ukiah Players Theatre, Artistic Director Evan Gaustad and Business Director Crystal Cook-Fischer.

August 20, 2024 --  On this month's edition of Art waves, we talk with Bruce Huebner from the Eolian Trio about their September presentation at the Willits Center for the Arts,  follow by the Mendocino College Gallery Director  Jazzminh Moore talking about her work and the September exhibition and we end with Karen Mattson Director of the Mendocino County Museum and their current exhibition, the Third Annual Printmaking Exhibit ImPRESSED: Turning the Page.  

July 16, 2024 -- In this month's edition of Art waves we talk about the Mendocino Music festival, followed by the Pacific Textile Arts Gallery exhibit on Mayan textiles and we end with the Ukiah Sundays in the Park 2024 season.

June 18, 2024 -- In this month edition of Art waves we talk to Devreaux Baker, Mendocino County first Poet laurel, follow by a conversation about the 24th anniversary to the arts organization in Fort Bragg Art Explores, and we end with the San Francisco Mime Troupe and their 65 season premier AMERICAN DREAMS - A New Musical. 

April 16, 2024 -- Art Waves, an arts magazine for Mendocino County. This month's edition features the Willits Center for the Arts, Singer and songwriter Rita Hosking, Point Arena poet laureate Blake More and Eddie Haehl covers the theater beat with discussions with two local directors, Michael Ducharme, director of Willits Community Theatre's production of Tennessee William's The Glass Menagerie, and Traci Hunt, director of Ukiah Players Theatre's original adaptation of Lewis Carroll's Through the Looking Glass.

February 20, 2024 - -  Art Waves, an arts magazine for Mendocino County, is now heard on the third Tuesday of every month, from 9-10 am. This month's edition features visual artist and musician Marjo Wilson, young painter Sophia Lavrov and Laura Fogg with the Art Center Ukiah.
