Athletes of X
by Taylor & Baillie
We’re Taylor and Bailie—former Division 1 collegiate swimmers who competed in the U.S. for years. Our lives revolved around early mornings, intense training, and the identity that comes with being an athlete. When that chapter ended, we both faced the question a lot of athletes avoid: now what? This podcast is our way of exploring that transition—not just for ourselves, but for others going through it too. We talk about the identity shift, the loss of structure, finding purpose beyond sport, and what it actually looks like to rebuild.Athletes of X is a platform for meaningful conversations about life after sport. Through stories from former athletes, we explore identity, mental health, career transitions, and the search for purpose beyond competition. Our goal is simple: get the conversation going and remind athletes they’re not navigating this alone :)
