holly humberstone's first release "deep end" is my favourite one of them all, till this day. the setting of the song always gets me; that strange feeling of desperately wanting to help someone who might not want your help, even though they're in a place they don't belong; and you want to crawl under their surface and take them far away from there. hits home. i wanted to make a slightly more uplifting and courageous version of it, so here it is hope you like! p xx

ATRIP - Für Immer the song and its release is so much more than just a single to me, it's the beginning of a new era for ATRIP and the introduction of the sound i've been refining throughout this dark and gloomy pandemic. i spent 2 years trying to find a way to break the ice, find myself and connect with my environment. i'm proud to say that i've succeeded. "Für Immer" marks the beginning of a musical journey defining my new sonic colour. "Tanzpartei": ATRIP emerges from a 2 year metamorphosis with a mixtape of dreamy, hypnotic and multi-faceted singles titled “Tanzpartei”, a clash of driving underground beats and emotionally rich harmonies. to wrap up 2019 i decided to remix one of my favorite records of the year; flume's incredible "rushing back". i'm aware that this isn't what someone who loves the ATRIP sound would expect to hear from me. i'm pushing my own boundaries in the studio every day and this remix is a product of exactly that. i'm afraid that doesn't mean that everyone around me will value it as much as i do, and that's okay. i could've kept it for myself and never released it but what's the point in that? don't worry though, i'm starting off 2020 with an absurd amount of bangers to fill those needs for a rave. see y'all next year! love, ATRIP x

A couple of weeks ago I was invited by 1001Tracklists to host a spotlight mix for them. What can I say, it was a huge honour for me and so I put together the probably most versatile, complex and progressive mix I have ever worked on. Rather than just playing an hour of bangers, I decided to take a musical approach and showcase all the music I resonate with; old or new, hard or soft, fast or slow. Projects like these are extremely important to me, as staying within the framework of alleged "genres" just isn't my thing... and I really suck at it. This mix is about music and about having fun.
