AyahuascaCanada provides information, education and collaboration for all things Ayahuasca in Canada. Everyone understands this sacred medicine from a different perspective. Our exploration is from the perspective of Canadians and others who have learned to work with this ancestral medicine from its traditional source in the Amazon.We understand the roots of this medicine are in the Amazon jungle as practiced by numerous ayahuasca cultures there and we honor and respect those traditions. We are adapting those traditions to our lives in the Western world with its many laws, rules and regulations. In this regard we are attempting to bridge the gap between using this sacred medicine in the Amazon Jungle with its ancestral knowledge by adapting that knowledge and those traditions in a spirit of co-operation and respect for those traditions.
