About 8 years ago I started down the rabbit hole of understanding how cults work, mind control, & how truly fallible the human mind is. It unlocked language and ideas about how understanding cult psychology and undue influence can help us understand ourselves, the world, and societal conditioning. It transformed how I think about the gut instinct, and how we’ve been taught to ignore it and instead exist in the cerebral realm. The realm most easily manipulated. TRIGGER WARNINGS: Child Abuse of all kinds will be referenced, and there are some graphic statistics that will be touched uponWelcome back to another babblings episode! I actually outlined this almost a year ago when I kept finding myself happening upon media that centered around ways children are exploited and abused. As someone that works with children it baffles me how adults continue to use their power to hurt those with no autonomy. The disaster that happened in Asheville from Hurricane Helene hurt my heart and I think it’s really important to bring light to climate change disasters because it will only get worse.
