I did them on myself using acrylic, and it took me a very long time 😅 but I was determined to try, even if they weren’t perfect. The funniest part is that I painted them black and white because those were literally the only colors I had at the time 😂🖤🤍 Looking back now, I realize how much I’ve improved since then. Sometimes we think we need to have everything before we begin: more money, better products, courses, perfect tools… but the truth is that something will always feel missing. Me las hice yo misma, en acrílico, y me demoré muchísimo 😅 pero estaba decidida a intentarlo aunque no salieran perfectas. Lo más gracioso es que me las pinté en negro y blanco porque eran literalmente los únicos colores que tenía en ese momento 😂🖤🤍 Mirando atrás me doy cuenta de cuánto he avanzado desde entonces. Pero me dijo algo que me dejó pensando… “el próximo mes me las voy a quitar para dejar que mis uñas respiren” 🤭 Y aquí es donde yo digo… nena, las uñas no respiran 😅 Están hechas de queratina, no tienen pulmones ni necesitan descansar de los productos. Lo que sí necesitan es buen mantenimiento y tiempo adecuado entre servicios. Al final eligió algo sencillo: un azul oscuro precioso, sin decoraciones ✨ Y este retoque tuvo un costo de 1200 pesos 💸💅 Pero dime tú… ¿tú también pensabas eso? 👀 My client came in after more than 6 weeks… way overdue 👀💅 Luckily, her nails were still in good condition, so we were able to do a refill without removing the whole set. But then she said something that really got me thinking… “Next month I’m going to remove them to let my nails breathe” 🤭 And that’s where I have to say… girl, nails don’t breathe 😅 They’re made of keratin, they don’t have lungs and they don’t need to “rest” from products. What they really need is proper maintenance and the right timing between appointments. Este viaje a Viñales fue eso para mí. Aunque el cuerpo no me estaba cooperando del todo, el corazón sí, y eso fue suficiente para intentar disfrutar cada pedacito de este rincón tan lindo de Cuba. Los paisajes son de postal: verdes intensos, montañas redondas que parecen dormidas, y ese aire que huele a tierra buena y café recién colado. Entre caminatas, paradas improvisadas, y momentos en los que solo mirábamos alrededor en silencio, entendí algo: a veces lo más grande no se ve en fotos, se siente en el pecho. Estar con mi familia en un lugar tan lleno de vida fue un regalo. Aunque no lo viví al 100 físicamente, sí lo viví con ganas y con gratitud. Este video es mi forma de compartir ese pedacito de paz, esa conexión con lo natural y lo humano. Ojalá te saque una sonrisa, un suspiro, o hasta ganas de hacer tu propia escapada. Sometimes, you don’t have to go far to find what really matters: nature, family, and a breath for the soul. This trip to Viñales was exactly that for me. Even though I wasn’t feeling my best physically, my heart was all in—and that was enough to enjoy every little piece of this beautiful corner of Cuba. The scenery looks like a postcard: deep greens, soft round mountains that seem to be sleeping, and air that smells like rich soil and fresh coffee. Between walks, spontaneous stops, and quiet moments just soaking it all in, I realized something: the most meaningful things aren’t always captured in photos—they’re felt deep inside. Being with my family in a place so full of life was a true gift. I didn’t experience it 100% with my body, but I did with my spirit and a lot of gratitude. This video is my way of sharing that slice of peace, that connection with nature and with each other.
