Roots & Reflections on the Environment, is a brief audio presentation but intellectually loaded philology of ecology and its environmentally balanced on the Island of Sanity. Listeners must synchronise their personality to become wo(men) of thought and wo(men) of action with the earth and its environment, not just for human survival but living luxuriously today while ensuring posterity also benefits from same if not more luxury of the earth and its environment.

A philosophical podcast on evoking our language use and it's interaction with the environment for action that are tailored for sustainability. Indigenous language is inherently incorporates ecological balance while modern and post-modern language can push one in taking action or foster environmental degradation. Hence audience must adopt or adapt a language that sees humans as a part of the environment as well as portray a balance with earth for an improved survival. Listen for more and details. Mangroves are very useful ecosystem that must be protected for an improved livelihood for those living by the shores. Besides medicinal values of the shrubs in the mangrove it serves as protection against sea erosion, as well as breeding and nursery for fishes from the sea. Countries that have mangroves must ensure they are not abused altjpugh their trees are price wise very high and insert resistant. Africa being the least user of agro-chemicals for farming must serious seize the opportunity to go into commercial production of organic fertilisers, herbicides and pesticides to displace the inorganic ones in use as of now that comes with environmental degradation. If African countries make the organic production and use of fertilisers, herbicides and pesticides as an agriculture policy it would move the continent to win the competitive advantage . Scientists must meet with Indigenous people in various communities to discuss issues on creating an ecological balance with sustainability in mind. With respect to Ghana, it is recommended that homes should start recycling their waste with various coloured waste bins, with emphasis on teaching children this practice and same continued into schools for a complete cultural change. Waste disposal in Ghana is problematic and with this recycling coloured waste bins concept introduction it would help the ecological balance that we all need for a better world.

Soil is the host and houses all living organisms and abiotic ones, besides it sustains life and the final place of death hence we humans must respect it. Without soil, all humans, plants and animals would be non-existent on the planet earth, as we live on its minerals for economic growth or wealth ir riches, water for survival, food from plants and other survival matetials from plants, air for breathing and organic matter for regeneration.
