Mangroves are very useful ecosystem that must be protected for an improved livelihood for those living by the shores. Besides medicinal values of the shrubs in the mangrove it serves as protection against sea erosion, as well as breeding and nursery for fishes from the sea. Countries that have mangroves must ensure they are not abused altjpugh their trees are price wise very high and insert resistant. Blending Indigenous Practices with Modern Scientific Practices for an Ecological Balance - Bald & Greybeard Show
Scientists must meet with Indigenous people in various communities to discuss issues on creating an ecological balance with sustainability in mind. With respect to Ghana, it is recommended that homes should start recycling their waste with various coloured waste bins, with emphasis on teaching children this practice and same continued into schools for a complete cultural change. Waste disposal in Ghana is problematic and with this recycling coloured waste bins concept introduction it would help the ecological balance that we all need for a better world.
