Wrench
The first song played on my Fender Squire Bass VI (2014). I got this guitar a few months ago, and I just love it! It's taken me a while to adjust, but it's got a nice unique sound. Here is my first composition on the Bass VI, "Wrench". It's partly inspired by Tool. * Fender Squire Bass VI (Stock) * AB/Y splitter * Effects - guitar: Daphon Compressor, Daphon Overdrive, Daphon Volume Pedal (they're cheap, but I quite like their sound. Using these instead of my more expensive Digitech pedals.) * Amp - guitar: Digitech RP250 * Amp - bass: Digitech BP355 * Mixer: Behringer Xenyx Q1204 (USB)

Vacillating
Vacillating: 1. not resolute; wavering; indecisive; hesitating 2. oscillating; swaying; fluctuating Unsure about the future. About: A single bass punches out a nice rhythm. Like my other tracks, this uses a dual signal path, one for "bass" and another for "lead". Recorded in July 2014 some time.

Techno Coloured
Recorded 13th July 2014. Experimentation with "lead bass" still going. This song in particular I've made a start at a few times, I think I got a lot of it down this time. Moved my bass pedal / amp (BP355) to the floor so I can use the expression pedal to adjust bass volume on the fly, as well as using the AB/Y. * ProAxe 4 String Bass * AB/Y splitter * Pre section - bass: Equalizer, Compressor (Phonic Optimizer) * Pre section - lead: Legacy brand Octaver, Digitech Metal Master, Equalizer * Effect section - bass: Digitech BP355 (footswitch mode) * Effect section - lead: Daphon Compressor, Digitech RP250 (desk mounted) * Amplifier - bass: Digitech BP355 * Amplifier - lead: Digitech RP250 * Mixer: Behringer Xenyx Q1204 (USB)

Bass Instinct
Concept Song (Unfinished Work in Progress) A single bass guitar makes some nice sound with an RP250 effects pedal. This was recorded in a single take without planning. Came out alright in my opinion. Constructive feedback welcome. Instruments: * ProAxe 4 String Bass * Digitech RP250 (distortion, amplifier, drums, sound source) Bass played by yours truly.
