We love our children and we would do anything to protect them. But what if one day you made a fateful mistake that could cost you your child’s life? You know you would never intentionally do anything to put them in harms way. You would never deliberately leave your baby strapped into their car seat, get out of your vehicle, lock the doors, and walk into your office to sit down and start your work day, knowing your entire world is in the backseat. You would never say “today looks like a good day to bypass my child’s day care provider and let them sit in the car by themselves with the windows rolled up.” I'm Laura Beck and my son, Anderson, passed away on June 28th, 2022 after my husband, Aaron, unknowingly left him in the backseat of his car while he went to work.
