    Tough Weeks on Broadway

After a couple of tumultuous weeks on and off the ice, the Blueshirts finally ended the long losing streak and will look to build on the win with some upcoming rivalry games.

  2. 29

    The Bread is Hot!

The start of this Rangers season is off and running. The team has had one of the best starts to a regular season in franchise history and the breadman is making the most of the opportunity with a seven game point streak. The Rangers need to continue to work on the defensive side to make sure they become one of the elite teams in the league as shown with Florida this week.

  3. 28

    Season Getting Started

Not too much craziness to cover... Just the Rangers going from the most dominating win to a track meet in the same week. We take some time to break it down but did not get the chance to hit on everything. Quick thoughts in this episode on the first two games!

  4. 27

    Regular Season Preview

The preseason is over! Up next is the regular season! There is a lot of status quo with the Rangers this off-season and the preseason showed the "run it back" mentality. How will this look and what are we looking at for this season.

  5. 26

    New Season - Same Goal!

This is it! The start of the new season, isn't everyone excited!?!?!? Yeah, neither am I. Coming off of the disappointment last season there was no real big change to this team coming into this year and expectations are high. This will be the telling season for this core group of players to see if they have what it takes to get it done.

  6. 25

    Offseason Thoughts

Well the Rangers were once again not able to complete the ultimate dream of winning the Stanley Cup. Now that this team has had several cracks at it, there are some tough decisions to make for the front office. We break down some thoughts here.

  7. 24

    Win or Go Home Time

This Eastern Conference Finals series has been exactly what everyone thought it would be... close scores, tight checking and no room on the ice to make plays. These are the two best teams in the Eastern Conference fighting for the right to advance to the Finals and it was never going to be easy. The Rangers have their backs against the wall and need to win to keep advancing.

  8. 23

    Eastern Conference Finals!

Well after two games in the ECF, it is exactly as tight as everyone thought it would be! The Rangers and Panthers are two of the top teams in the league and are as close as you can get. One goal games and tight checking have been the hallmark of this series so far.

  9. 22

    That Was Close!

If I had told you two weeks ago the Rangers would beat Carolina 4 games to 2 in Game 6, everyone would've signed for that... This series had it all and was the exact type of playoff series I expected when the match up came about. The Rangers were the better team, just slightly, all season and it showed in this series with how closely the two teams played. Now the focus shifts to the ECF!

  10. 21

    The Playoffs Keep Rolling

The Rangers start the second round series against arguably the best team in the Eastern Conference this season and the last several seasons. This was going to be a tough task for the group but they continue to play a strong game and stick together.

  11. 20

    It Gets Harder From Here

With the Rangers taking care of business in the first round and beating a team that they should be beating, it is now on to the second round of the playoffs and they will play arguably the best team remaining in the playoffs. This will be one of if not the toughest series that either team will have to play moving forward.

  12. 19

    Playoff Hockey

The Rangers and Capitals have played a tight first round series with the Rangers able to use the depth of their team to their advantage. The 3rd and 4th lines have been key to the success so far and have allowed the top lines to get time and space on the puck, which is a recipe for success.

  13. 18

    Playoff Season is Loading...

Well the most historic regular season in franchise history is completed... there are no boxes left to check and the team is ready to start hockey's second season. The chase for the Stanley Cup is on and everyone knows it is the hardest trophy in sports to win. Get ready for the excitement that is the NHL playoffs!

  14. 17

    Regular Season Finale!

With the regular season coming to an end, the blueshirts are in a tough spot of trying to play their game and gear up for the playoffs while also playing a mixed bag of teams that are either eliminated or fighting for their playoff lives. Looks like it is going to be a fun final stretch of games for the league!

  15. 16

    Crazy Week on Broadway

Well that definitely a week that Rangers fans will remember for a while. From fight-night on Broadway to scoring eight goals in the desert, the Rangers had quite the week. They were able to play and win in different ways and everyone in the lineup is contributing to the success of this team!

  16. 15

    Learning From the Past

The Rangers played 3 fellow playoff bound teams this week and played different style games in each. The Rangers had to learn from their past mistakes to find ways to win in each of the 3 games and showed that they are truly a team to believe in this season. Listen to me break it all down on this weeks' episode!

  17. 14

    It Feels like Playoff Time

The Rangers come off a string of games that all resemble playoff style games against tough opponents and this week is more of the same with the final back to back set and some tough teams and styles of play. The Rangers have been able to handle all of the tests so far but want to continue to set the right trend and tone heading into April.

  18. 13

    Good Week Gone Bad

After the trade deadline and almost a week off, the blueshirts returned to the ice for a busy week with four games in this episode. The team played strong playoff style hockey and had a rather successful week, until they didn't. I break it all down in this week's episode.

  19. 12

    Trade Deadline Madness

The Rangers played 2 games this past week but the main focus for the league was the 2024 NHL Trade Deadline that came on Friday. With the light week of hockey due to a weird schedule, Rangers fans had a whole week to dream up crazy trade scenarios making it seem like the team they have seen all season was full of terrible players. I will break it all down in this week's episode!

  20. 11

    It's Mika March!

The Rangers played three games this past week to close out the month of February and picked up 2 wins out of 3 games making for an almost perfect month and just missing on the franchise record for wins in a row. This team has bigger and better aspirations and got right back to work. Now a tough schedule in March and the trade deadline approach!

  21. 10

    Rivalry Week

The Rangers played both NYC area teams this week, including the Stadium Series against the Islanders last Sunday. I break down all of the games, including thought on the outdoor NHL games as a whole and how special they truly have become. I also take a look at the other games of the week and how the Rangers are rolling four distinct lines and building a group that knows their roles and are able to provide different skill sets to make this team more dynamic!

  22. 9

    Rolling into the Stadium Series

This week the Rangers played two Canadian teams and got two wins. The third line continues to break out and lead this team as the most consistent two way line and the physicality started to pick up before a game against Montreal that lacked defense. The Stadium Series is up next!

  23. 8

    Back on the Wagon

After the all star break reset, the Rangers get the chance to test their game against two tough opponents. With some slow start the boys put up two great efforts and now have a chance to play some get right games against teams on the outside of the playoff picture. I talk about the 3rd and 4th line again and again as well as my thoughts on the all star game!

  24. 7

    All Star Break!

Only one game to break down from this week with the team on their bye-week and all star weekend! I break this game down for you, including the fight that may spark the season as well as some trade talk and some all star weekend news!

  25. 6

    Tough Week on Broadway

After a long road trip on the West Coast, the team only gathered 3 points this week and came home to play a hurt Vegas team. The Rangers continue their run of poor play and look a bit lazy and uninterested which is starting to be a concern. I break some of it down in this week's episode.

  26. 5

    Season at a Crossroad

After another painful week of hockey, and a look at the standings... it is clear that the team and players are at a crossroad for the season. Can they right the ship and start playing the game the right way or will they continue to put out less then acceptable efforts?

  27. 4

Dont Hit the Panic Button Yet

After a week in hockey that sent me back to the early 2000's, the Rangers picked up only one point in a shootout loss. That was probably the only point this week that they deserved and not even in the game they deserved it in. I break down the team's defensive struggles and the need to get back to basics.

  28. 3

    Hockey is a Physical Game

Once again the Rangers go 2 out of 3 for wins on the week but this week showed some deficiencies that the team has in regard to physicality. Plus, another rookie debut and the kids continue to impress and do we have a heart trophy in New York this season?

  29. 2

    Building an Identity

After another 2-1 week, the Blueshirts are starting to build a team identity! Impressive wins over the Sabers and Caps have the team continuing to feel good and building positive energy into the new year.

  30. 1

    Leafs & Bears Oh My!

Whats going on everyone! Busy week for the blueshirts with 3 games since the last episode! Some good measuring stick opponents that gave the team a test to see where they stand! Listen in to hear my thoughts on the games and some Christmas musings! Enjoy!
