Boldly Gone - The Trek Tales
by George B
We’re honestly just grateful to still be here doing this. What started five or six years ago as a deep dive into Star Trek episodes slowly grew into something bigger, leading us to interview people from the Star Trek universe along the way, as well as Rock and Roll Hall of Fame musicians, award-winning filmmakers, doctors, and so many fascinating voices from different worlds. Through it all, the heart of the show has remained the same: curiosity, conversation, and a genuine love for storytelling. Now it feels right to come back home to Star Trek, share that passion again, and connect with fellow fans who’ve been on this journey with us—or are just discovering it for the first time

To Boldly Go_ Back in Time
On our next show, we’re diving headfirst into one of Star Trek’s most fascinating ideas: time travel—how it bends history, tests morality, and reshapes destiny across every era of the franchise. We’ll be talking about classic episodes and films like “The City on the Edge of Forever,” “Tomorrow Is Yesterday,” and “Assignment: Earth” from The Original Series; “Yesterday’s Enterprise,” “Time’s Arrow,” “Cause and Effect,” and “First Contact” from The Next Generation; “Past Tense,” “Trials and Tribble-ations,” “Children of Time,” and “The Visitor” from Deep Space Nine; “Future’s End,” “Year of Hell,” “Timeless,” and “Endgame” from Voyager; “Cold Front,” “Storm Front,” and the Temporal Cold War arc from Enterprise; plus the films Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home, Star Trek: First Contact, Star Trek (2009), and Star Trek Into Darkness, exploring how time travel has been used as story engine, cautionary tale, and philosophical mirror. If you love paradoxes, alternate timelines, and big “what if” questions, this is a conversation you won’t want to miss—especially on a livestream show where we’ve also interviewed Rock and Roll Hall of Fame musicians and award-winning filmmakers, bringing that same depth and curiosity into the Star Trek universe.

It’s a celebration of bold ideas, unforgettable filmmaking, and passionate debate—and we couldn’t be happier to explore it with you.
