Don left quite an impact on athletics in the Olean area, serving as a coach - winning numerous divisional, sectional, and regional titles - director, administrator, mentor and more. Don reestablished Olean’s Sports Booster Club in 1993 and had been serving as chair of the Huskies’ Athletic Wall of Fame committee since 1999. Don is a member of five athletic halls of fame: 2008 Allegany County, 2010 Genesee Valley (Angelica), 2013 Cattaraugus County, 2024 Olean High School and 2024 NYSPHAA Section VI Hall of Fame.
