Shedding thoughts
Stuck in a traffic jam With no driving lessons Or a certified license We have taken on the drivers seat To cause all the havoc It's the peak hour When thoughts peek From everywhere Causing a huge jam With no GPS to guide When the train of thoughts Have nowhere to go We simply struggle not knowing How to let go With no traffic lights There is no way to regulate stop , wait or go The traffic simply grows Until the mind, it blows The only way to manage the flow Is to create empty spaces By sheddding some Food for thought Mind the traffic Or the traffic shall mind you!

Finding me
I am a caged bird Who has set my own bars I can clearly see the skies Yet, I can't set myself to fly There's no lock to the cage Yet, I am locked up in rage I live in a world of my own With so little that I have known I should know that I am blind Crippled by my own mind The day I set myself free Will be the day I start to be me

Nature's wonder
Silent spectators They have stood by for centuries many Watching life come and go Just as a mist formed on a windshield They have guarded the land from tsunamis many Watching the fall as life springs Just as a wave in the sea They have seen countless blue moons Waxing and waning Just as a breath rise and fall They have been draped by rainbows and striked by lightnings Unmoving they stand Just as a drop on a lily pad They have buried the treasure under their beginings Standing tall and vast As trees....

Slumber Beats
Centered in the Self Sometimes you got to be self-centered If you still keep thinking of others Nights will pass as days And the eyes won't droop to sleep Sometimes you got to be self-centered To clear the mind of those Whose presence only nags you And the eyes won't droop to sleep Sometimes you got to be self-centered To prepare the stage for a dream If you hold on to roles of the day screen The eyes won't droop to sleep Sometimes you got to be self-centered To let go of all that isn't you If you hold on to the beliefs tight The eyes won't droop to sleep If you are centered in the Self Even with eyes open You can feel a deep sleep From which you wake up as you

Inspirational Nuggets
This too shall pass... Days of dull doldrums Or nights as restless crickets Dawn without much light Or dusk without much delight This too shall pass As there's hope to surpass Every mountain to climb Every ocean to swim Every fear to conquer Every battle to combat This too shall pass As there's desire to surpass Every need for perfection Every lack of clarity Every urge to compare Every inner conflcit to bear This too shall pass As there's will to surpass Every ask denied Every request dismissed Every attempt failed Every pursuit dangled This too shall pass As there's purpose to surpass In the journey of life Our journeys are just a mile Our journeys are just a mile In the journey of life Shoot the troubles with a smile This too shall pass This too shall pass...

Love, a rose
I wished for a rose And it was granted In the garden of my heart It was rooted In spring, it brought me joy Bushes in full bloom Fragrance it spread In my chambers effacing gloom In summer, with care I sprinkled love To prevent it from wilting The heat, I shove In autumn, it went silent Leaves shedding With prickly thorns it hurt My very being When winter came I had to prune the canes So I prepare it well For the next season again Perhaps love is such And hence compared to a rose With tender care it grows When the time comes We need to know how to let go

Meandering Mind
We lead our lives Like we read books on paper Characters come alive Just about from any corner We craft our villain based on biased opinions We conveniently suppress meaningful voices as comedians We celebrate successes of only a few who we consider as winners We claim to be the hero perfect in whatever we do We take the authors seat and try to carve our destiny Tactfully illustrated by our mind But in the end we realise We are none of these entities that we thought to be But for the blank pages Ready for another fine print

Love springs from hate
Love springs from hate I hated her To the bottom of my heart I din't know, Love would grow To overflow... A sprout, a leaf or a bloom I was born again In her heart's womb Days, months or years I wouldn't count For eternity, in her core, she bears Dawn, twilight or dusk In her heart's confines I bask, in joy My heart in her's Has no room for hate She has shown me the way To a lovely today!
