Aubrey Cavitt is a mother, video podcaster, and self-proclaimed nerd. As a young mother of two and pregnant with her third, Aubrey believed it would be best for the youngest to be adopted. In the aftermath, Aubrey discovered how losing a child in that way affected both her and all three of her children.

Christian Eulinberg is a podcaster, movie buff, gamer, IT guy, and the son of an adoptee. His mother’s adoption story has always been a part of his life, not as an inherited identity but as a filter through which he sees the world. Adopted and left-handed, I live in a world not made for me. I’m Isaac Wetzel, and for as long as I can remember, I’ve been the “Brown Sheep” in a White, Christian, Midwestern suburbia. Until college, I never questioned my identity. In a world that feels foreign, I’m exploring what it means to be different and how to make the most of it. As the first official Brown Sheep of the flock, I’d like to start the conversation with a bit about me and my experience being adopted.
