Bursting Bookshelves

Books are big and messy things. There are lots of characters and plots to keep up with, and in doing that it is easy to get lost in the nuts and bolts and to lose sight of the bigger side of things: the themes, messages and developments that an author uses to make a story powerful. In this podcast we try to make both sides easy; the nuts and bolts of who and what the characters, settings, and plots are, and also the broader themes and ideas that bind the book together as an entirety.
