James Knott of Better Beer Authority
One of my favorite BeerTubers from the early days was "Better Beer Authority." It was a roundtable show run by James Knott. He actually built a TV style studio in the basement of his house and produced a beer review show that would look like something you'd see on your local TV station. I actually did a beer trade with him way back in the day. I always wanted to drive out to Ohio to guest on his show, but unfortunately it just never happened. Though we did get to at least record this podcast way back in 2012. Watch the video version of this podcast here: https://youtu.be/CpAbqRO5sZgJames's YouTube channel are still available for viewing:James Knott: https://www.youtube.com/@JamesKnott Better Beer Authority: https://www.youtube.com/@TheBetterBeerAuth Our collab review of "The Doppelrock" by Great Lakes Brewing: https://youtu.be/oRmabsylA6k

Northern Southerner Beer Reviews
It's been a LONG time since the last new episode of Chad'z Beer Podcast. I'm hoping to bring this back to a monthly show for 2026. And the first guest of the year is Jon Brown; better known as Northern Southerner Beer Reviews (just don't ask me why his handle is @brownale1000 ha ha).JB's been a regular on the BeerTube scene since 2015. He gets his name from the fact he's originally from England's southern coast but now lives in the northeast region. Not too far from Samuel Smith's Brewery. Speaking of which, check out our collab review of Taddy Porter here👉 https://youtu.be/WcS1qmBU6xU

Seth Wright of Beer Nation
There have been a number of "brewery tour" BeerTuber channels going all the way back to the early days of YouTube. Beer Nation (not to be confused with Beer Geek Nation) was one of those channels, and IMHO, probably the best of its era.Seth Wright was one half of this channel. In this podcast we talk about the origins of the show, what it's like being a craft beer enthusiast in New York City, and our mutual love for Union College Hockey! You can see Beer Nation's complete archive of documentaries and interviews here:https://youtube.com/@beernationshow Watch me and Seth's review of Brooklyn Local 1 here: https://youtu.be/-JioRJYUMmU𝗙𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗺𝗲 𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗬𝗪𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗘👉 https://linktr.ee/chadzbeerreviews

Chad'z Beer Reviews Last Call
Cristina joins me for a two hour live stream as a way to say goodbye. We review "Deth by Ramble" by Revolution Brewing and then B.S. around for another 90 minutes. We had been considering starting a podcast for a while (it would have nothing to do with beer) so this was kind of a pilot episode of sorts. We talk about the history of this channel, our history with drinking and plenty of random topics.

Winton the BeerTuber
You've probably heard me use the term "BeerTuber" A LOT, right? Well, I didn't coin that phrase. All credit is due to "Winton The BeerTuber" who was one of the more popular BeerTubers in the Golden Age of BeerTube. He originally went by "BeerichiTuba" because he was part Japanese and he played the tuba. Winton and I actually met in person in Albany. I haven't talked to him in years so I'm not sure what he's up to. Still, his youtube channel is worth watching for some BeerTube nostalgia.Check out Winton's channel here: https://www.youtube.com/@beerichitubaWatch the video version of this podcast here: https://youtu.be/rE4DJVmQcK4

Alan Mackenzie of One Flight Down
Continuing with my series of podcasts with Canadian BeerTubers, this episode features Alan Mackenzie of One Flight Down. This channel features Alan who lives and works in the heart of Winnipeg. He started his channel in 2021 to combat boredom during the early days of COVID. Not only did we talk beer and beertubing, but we also found out we're both lovers of comics, hockey, and homebrewing. Check out Alan's BeerTube channel here: https://www.youtube.com/@OneFlightDownWpgBe sure to check out our review of Erdinger Weissbier here: https://youtu.be/QoCtFS7pjG4

Deanna Fox
This week's archive edition features Deanna Fox. We were acquaintances through the Albany foodie and craft beer scene back in the 2010s. Both of us had blogs on the website of the Times Union (the biggest newspaper in the Capital District). I just looked her up on LinkedIn and she is now the head of the New York State Farm Bureau (wow!). I'm actually going up to Albany in a few weeks, maybe we can catch up over a beer. Until then, enjoy this 2-in-1 podcast where I interview her and then she interviews me.

Drew Watts aka "Beer For Breakfast, Facts For Snacks"
Drew Watts aka @BeerforBreakfastFactsforSnacks is one of the most popular Canadian BeerTubers of late. He started his channel in 2020 at the height of COVID. Since then he has gained a pretty strong following with over 700k views in just 5 years (wow!). I sat down with Drew (while he stood) and we reviewed Sparklepuff by Flying Monkeys; which you can see here: https://youtu.be/Eydif7LLFwA

51
Ben Harris aka "Just a Beer Geek"
I'd say the "Golden Years" of this channel (and BeerTube in general) were 2010-2015. At the time, I was writing a blog for the Times Union newspaper in Albany. I met several other local beer bloggers and brought them in as contributors to the TU blog. Ben Harris was one of them. He ran a blog called "Just a Beer Geek" and the logo was a nonic pint glass with the same glasses he wears. You can see it for yourself here: https://www.youtube.com/justabeergeekI can't remember how we met, but I do remember meeting up with him often at some of the best craft beer spots and bottle shares. Ben seemed to always have some "whalez". In this podcast you get a twofer: first I interview Ben, then Ben interviews me. I'm planning a trip home sometime this summer so hopefully we'll have a chance to catch up in person.

The Halifax Foodies
I follow a lot of accounts on Instagram of beer and food influencers from all over the world. So it's not surprising that the algorithm matched me with Bre and Shannon; two food and drink enthusiasts from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. Bre is currently in the Canadian Navy and I was in the in the U.S. Navy from 2001-2011. In fact, my ship actually went to Halifax in 2006 so I showed them pictures of when I was there nearly 20 years ago (but it feels like yesterday).Be sure to check out our collab review of Delirium Tremens: https://youtu.be/5ELEvgiWM0IFollow Bre and Shannon on Instagram:Bre: https://www.instagram.com/bre_hfxfoodie/Shannon: https://www.instagram.com/thebootiefoodie/

Madison Smith-Levine aka @WinoBeeroFoodo
Madison Smith-Levine aka @WinoBeeroFoodo was one of the first Lady BeerTubers back in the Golden Age of BeerTube. She posted pretty frequently and she knew what she was talking about as she had an extensive education in food and nutrition. She's worked for wineries and breweries but now owns her own hearing consultation firm (quite a change of venue for sure!).Madison doesn't make food and drink content anymore, but maybe this podcast will inspire her to give it another try!Check out me and Madison's review of Sierra Nevada Ovila Dubbel here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G3RGjUtDQHYMadison on the web:website: https://winobeerofoodo.com/YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@winobeerfoodoTwiX: https://x.com/@WinoBeeroFoodoInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/winobeerofoodo

Andy's Beer Reviews
One of the most underrated BeerTubers in the UK, IMHO, is @AndysBeerReviews . Though relatively new to the BeerTube scene, he's amassed over 1000 followers. His beer reviews are concise and to-the-point. This podcast was anything but, LOL. We chatted about many topics including BeerTube, football (both American and global), beer trends, homebrewing and plenty more. Paul's Beer Reviews
One of the biggest channels to come out of the UK in recent years is @paulsbeerreviews . Much like Simon, he's gained a wholly organic large audience just for being himself. Mark Starr aka "The Grand Ole Hopry"
If you were around for the Golden Age of BeerTube (2009-2013) you probably remember Mark Starr aka "The Grand Ole Hopry." He was based out of Kansas City and was one of the first BeerTubers to review "whalez" like Pliny The Younger, Founders KBS, and Bell's Hopslam (those last two are now available in supermarkets). Mark was a big fan of Boulevard Brewing (before they merged with Ommegang and Moortgat), and we actually reviewed "The Sixth Glass" together. This interview was shot in January of 2011.Mark discontinued his channel after only 2 years, though it appears all the videos are still there. I definitely recommend checking him out. Hopefully he'll come back to BeerTube someday.Mark's channelhttps://www.youtube.com/@TheGrandOleHopry1Our collab review of "The Sixth Glass" by Boulevard Brewinghttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cj3mNnThRh0

Craft Beer Girl
Stephanie is the WOMAN behind the aptly named @craftbeergirlakaCBG channel. She's a nurse by day and a craft beer enthusiast by night. We actually met through Instagram as we're both located in the Orlando area and have a lot of local acquaintances in common. Oddly enough we've never actually met in person. We talk about all this and more in this podcast. Bumpy-isms
Jesse aka @bumpy-isms has been around the BeerTube scene since the Golden Age. Though he started out mostly as a viewer and commenter, he eventually got into creating content around 2018. His channel is a mix of homebrewing, beer reviews and pizza reviews. Mr. Bumpy lives in New Hampshire, which is a prime location since he's within a day's drive to some of the hottest breweries in the country right now. We discuss what it's like to be surrounded by such great beer in this podcast.

Mateo The Beer Reviewer
After a month-and-a-half hiatus Chad'z Beer Podcast is back, baby! This episode features one of the most popular beer influencers on Instagram: Mateo The Beer Reviewer. He has one of the biggest organic followings for a Beer 'Gramer with over 8500 devoted fans where's he been posting daily beer reviews since 2012! In this podcast, Mateo and I discuss our mutual love for beer and what it's like being a beer reviewer/influencer who's constantly chasing the next must have beer/brewery/style, etc. This was a pleasantly fun and surprisingly breezy episode that I think (and hope) everyone will enjoy.Be sure to follow Mateo here:Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/beer_reviewer/Untappd: https://untappd.com/user/Beer_reviewer

Matt Stewart
One of my favorite BeerTubers from the Golden Age was Matt Stewart. He was a bearded beer lover in the Miami area at the time. I can't remember how I found his channel, but I do remember appreciating his honesty and light hearted/every man approach. Matt and I did a few trades and he was the first to introduce me to the wonders of two Florida breweries that were in high demand back then: Cigar City and Funky Buddha. Matt and I actually met once in Albany and we're still friends on Facebook today. Perhaps we'll do a reunion collab review sometime?Matt hasn't posted in years, but his channel is still available for viewing at https://www.youtube.com/@MtStewart/videos

The Old Rasputin vertical vs. horizontal aging experiment
Have you ever heard it's better to cellar beer vertically rather than horizontally (like wine)? The theory behind is that a bottle stored upright has less surface area exposed to oxygen whereas a bottle laid down on its side increases that area massively and will oxidize quicker and more prominently. I decided to put this theory to the test and conducted an experiment that took me TWO YEARS to complete. I bought two 8-packs of Old Rasputin Russian Imperial Stout from North Coast brewing and laid one down horizontally. I tasted them at 3 months, 6 months, a year and two years to see if there was a noticeable difference. Was there? Watch and find out!Watch the video version of this podcast here: https://youtu.be/CyPUumpzDZc

Ryan Reschan (aka San Diego Beer Vlog)
Ryan Reschan started out as a BeerTuber known as "Stumpy Joe Jr." Later on he changed it to "San Diego Beer Vlog" and became a member of the Beer Geek Nation network. Ryan and I did many collab reviews and several trades. Thanks to him I was able to get a lot of Russian River sours and wilds and other coveted west coast-only beers. Ryan was also a great homebrewer and made a lot of videos about his processes. He actually won a competition sponsored by Stone Brewing and had his "Coconut IPA" recipe scaled up and brewed by Stone! Greg Koch even appeared on his show a few times if I remember correctly.Ryan doesn't make videos anymore, but I highly suggest checking out his channel archives.https://www.youtube.com/@RyanReschan/videos

Shaun & Mike of Nerdsense
I can't believe it took this long for me to finally meet and collaborate with Shaun and Mike of @NerdsenseReviews . The Master of Hoppets (archive edition)
This week's archive edition features one of the most prolific BeerTubers, @TheMasterOfHoppets . I first discovered Peter when I did a search for reviews of Duff Beer (yes, the beer from The Simpsons). This was still early in Peter's YouTube career (probably 2009 or so). Him and I collaborated on many reviews over the years and even met in person briefly when he was flying from Denmark to New Mexico and landed at JFK airport in New York City. We reviewed a Three Floyds beer in my car in the parking garage! These mini podcasts were recorded in November of 2010 and March of 2012. Mrs. Real Ale Guide
We all know the biggest BeerTuber is @realaleguide but did you know his wife Mel also had her own channel where she reviewed beer? Well, she did at @MrsRealAleGuide aka "Craft Beer Lady." I actually did a couple collab reviews with Mel and many with Simon.

The Imasofats
One of the first channels I ever started watching on YouTube with regularity was @Imasofat . They were (and still ARE) a married couple in Upstate New York that make videos about random and fun things in their life. At some point they started making beer reviews and that's probably when the channel took off (bear in mind, this is all early YT days like 2008 or so). I was delighted when I found out Gary and Melissa lived only about 2 hours away from me. We actually met up in person quite a few times at their "mansion". The Imasofats haven't stopped producing content completely, but they've definitely dialed it back. Perhaps they'll see this podcast and it will inspire them to make beer reviews (or videos about anything) on a regular basis again.Follow Gary and Melissa here:YT: https://www.youtube.com/@imasofatIG: https://www.instagram.com/imasofat

All The Beer, No Idea
One of the most popular BeerTubers to come out of the UK in recent years is Barry Lee aka @allthebeernoidea180 . I can see why, he's very personable, honest and funny. He does all his reviews off the cuff with little or no editing. I sat down with Barry to talk all things beer and plenty more topics. Chris Steltz of Beer Geek Nation
If you were here for the Golden Age of BeerTube (2010-2015) you probably remember Chris Steltz aka @BeerGeekNation . He was THE BeerTuber of the era. His channel featured well-produced video beer reviews with professional animation, sound, lighting and editing. Not to mention Chris's in-depth knowledge of quality beer and his ability to find and review the white whales of the moment. Chris even started a "network" of sorts where other BeerTubers used the BGN logo and animation in their videos. But then one day he just disappeared without saying goodbye. So Chris, if you're watching this please come back to BeerTube! Or at least let us know why you left.

FRIDAYS R4U
Who doesn't like Fridays? Well, Howard Tignor dedicated his channel to this day of the week by calling it @fridaysr4u306 . He's been making BeerTube videos since 2019. His channel features several themed shows though "Uncle Bub's Bell Buckle Beer Reviews" is the flagship show. He considers himself a blue collar working man and dedicates every episode of his show to workers in a different industry. Howard isn't a beer snob at all, and something of a newbie to the craft beer world. Learn all about this man from central Tennessee in this podcast. Jeremy Hosier of Steadfast Beer Co. & Westmere Beverage
You might not recognize the name of this episode's guest, but Jeremy Hosier actually had a lot of influence on my craft beer journey. He was the manager of Westmere Beverage, a fantastic beer-only store in Guilderland, NY within walking distance of my apartment from 2007-2015. I was there so often that we struck up a friendship and he even gave me the employee discount. Around 2011 Jeremy and some of his friends/colleagues started Steadfast Beer Company. They made only gluten-free beers that actually tasted like beer (not all twangy like Red Bridge). It doesn't look like they're still in business, although their website is still active.Unfortunately, Jeremy died in early 2020 right when COVID hit. I'm not sure if that was the cause of his death, though. I included two back-to-back interviews with him I conducted in the summer of 2012: one as a beer company owner and one as the manager of a beer store. Even if you're not familiar with Mr. Hosier, I think the inside information he provides is fascinating. And as a bonus I included two tours of Westmere Beverage from 2009 and 2011.

Hops and Brews
Jon Shubin is the man behind @HopsAndBrews - one of the most popular BeerTube channels to emerge in the last few years. Hops & Brews started out as a pretty standard BeerTube channel, but Jon eventually started doing many experimental type videos that have gotten massive views; such as freeze distilling Budweiser, his 46 day all-beer diet, how to turn any beer non-alcoholic, trying to drink with a muscle stimulator and many many more. Mark Sinderson aka BikeBeerBBQ
If there was ever a BeerTuber with an ideal URL it was Mark Sinderson who originally started out his channel as youtube.com/videobeerreviews (so accurate and right to the point!). He later changed his handle to @BikeBeerBBQ across all social media. I always enjoyed his channel because he was (and I assume still is) an avid cyclist but also was a craft beer enthusiast. He even wrote a book for people like me that loved beer but wanted to lose weight called "Beyond the 12oz Curl". Unfortunately that book is out of print but its listing is still up on Amazon.I also liked Mark's food cooking tutorials as he made pretty much everything on his "Big Green Egg" grill. Unfortunately, his channel disappeared a while back due to copyright issues. I wish Mark would re-upload those old videos without the copyrighted material as I'd bet a new generation of viewers would enjoy them. You can still catch Mr. Sinderson on Joe D's "Share a Beer" show here:https://www.youtube.com/@JoeDreviews/streams

Chelsea & Liz of "Body By Beer Podcast"
There aren't too many women in the BeerTube community, but Chelsea and Liz of the @bodybybeerpodcast channel might single-handedly change that. They produce a high-quality video podcast where they discuss food and beer pairings; beer news; beer facts and history; debunk beer myths; go on brewery tours; interview professional brewers; and a whole lot more. You've probably seen some of their shortform content on YouTube, Instagram or TikTok (where they have over 18k followers!)Sorry for the "short" runtime on this episode. Max Spang aka "Snobby Beer"
This week's archive edition features one of the lesser-known BeerTubers: Max Spang aka "Snobby Beer". I remember being impressed with Max's production skills which were pretty advanced for the 2010-2013 era. I interviewed Max for my channel in August of 2011 and he had me on his show about a month later. Both of those interviews are included in this podcast episode. As an extra bonus, I've included a video of me unboxing a beer mail he sent me sometime in 2011. Yup, I still have that video saved (I never delete anything).Max's channel is still up on YouTube, but he hasn't posted to it in about a decade. Maybe this podcast will encourage him to come out of retirement.

Is BeerTube Dead? (featuring Mat from Massive Beers)
Recently, a few UK-based BeerTubers have made vlogs wondering if beer reviews on YouTube are still needed and if this niche we call BeerTube is dying. I've actually had similar thoughts lately, but I wanted to get another seasoned American BeerTuber's perspective, so I asked Mat from @massivebeers to join me for a discussion on the subject. Marty Nachel, beer pundit and author
This week's guest is well known among the beer community for his written works. Marty Nachel (rhymes with Rachel) has been a beer pundit, journalist, and author for well over 30 years. His first writing was first published in the late 1980s. Marty is best known for his books BEER FOR DUMMIES and HOMEBREWING FOR DUMMIES. He's also written many articles and op-eds for All About Beer and other industry magazines and websites. In this podcast we discuss how he became such a craft beer enthusiast and the story behind his books, as well as many anecdotes from his travels and his thoughts on the current state of the industry.Marty and I shot an episode of Tuesday Night Beer School on the English Brown Ale style which you can see here:Follow Mr. Nachel on social media here:YT: https://youtube.com/@NachelBeerEducation IG: https://www.instagram.com/nachelbeereducation/TKTK: https://www.tiktok.com/@martynachelFB: https://www.facebook.com/marty.nachelTwiX: https://x.com/aleconner

Daniel Harper aka "The Endosymbiosis"
This archive edition of the podcast features Daniel Harper aka "The Endosymbiosis" (though I think he also went by Michigan Beer Vlog). Dan and I did quite a few beer and homebrew trades at the time. The first time I ever got to try Founders KBS was because Dan sent it to me (all these years later I really appreciate that!). We actually recorded two interviews: first in November of 2010 and later in April of 2012. The later episode was pretty epic at the time because it was right after Dan had shaved his epic chest-length beard. As far as I can tell, Dan's channel is long gone but apparently he still collabs with Lee Russell on a podcast where they review old B-movies.

Beer Noob
This week's archive edition features a BeerTuber who I always enjoyed watching: Beer Noob. His real name was Ron (I thought it was Brian for some reason). I always liked that he made really honest, everyman, unpretentious reviews. Unfortunately, Ron deleted his channel a long time ago though I coulda swore he left a comment on one of my videos recently. This podcast also features a little bonus interview, except this time it's Ron interviewing me. Normally I'd plug the guest's socials but I don't know any of his as of now.

Simon Martin aka "Real Ale Craft Beer"
If you're a fan of BeerTube then I can already assume you're a fan of Simon Martin aka "Real Ale Craft Beer". He has the biggest English-speaking BeerTube channel with over 74k subscribers and it has received almost 30 MILLION views across nearly 10,000 videos (not all reviews, of course). Simon and I have known each other since the early days. We've done quite a few collab reviews over the years. This was our first time having a longform conversation in years.NOTE: We had actually begun recording the podcast last week but we only got about 30 minutes in when he had to leave suddenly so we started from scratch this week. Steve "The Beer Man"
Steve "The Beer Man" is a BeerTuber based out of northern Oregon - a state known for its acclaimed breweries and hop farms. Not surprisingly, Steve is an avid homebrewer and beer reviewer with all that great beer selection nearby. Steve's been making content since 2018. He does a little bit of everything: homebrew demos, group livestreams, beer reviews (obviously) and even cannabis reviews. A Beer A Day With TK
Tristan Kilgallon is the man behind @ABeerADayWithTK . Though he resides in suburban Ohio, he originally hails from Philadelphia (as you can no doubt tell by his love for the Phillies, Eagles, Flyers, etc.). He's the second BeerTuber I've met that has a mancave shed in their backyard just for beer reviews. Tristan has traveled a lot and has an appreciation for the lesser-known European beer styles. We discuss all that and more in this podcast. Marcus Guiliano
You might know Marcus Guiliano for his now widely-popular YouTube channel where he talks about being a restaurateur, healthy eating and healthy lifestyles. I knew him well over a decade ago when he was just getting started as a health influencer. Marcus owns Aroma Thyme Bistro in Ellenville, New York (just north of the city), where Kevin Burns once bartended. I met Marcus through Kevin and actually shot a few episodes of my show at his restaurant. We conducted this podcast, and a review of Dogfish Head Pangaea in his office upstairs on July 26, 2010Check out our review of Dogfish Head Pangaea here: https://youtu.be/fPIK29QO-bUCheck out Marcus's YouTube channel here:https://www.youtube.com/@marcusguiliano

Kevin Burns of "The Foaming Head"
If you watched this channel during the early days you might remember my occasional co-host Kevin Burns of "The Foaming Head." I cannot remember how we met, but we were both beer bloggers in Albany. Kevin's blog was dedicated to covering New York State beer. He was one of the most enthusiastic beer lovers I knew. We lost touch a few years ago, but I'd love to catch up and do a long overdue collab review again. This podcast was originally recorded June 30, 2010

Massive Beers
Even though he joined the BeerTube community several years after, matt at @massivebeers has racked up over 4,000 video beer reviews! Paul & Michelle from "Rate My Beer"
Paul and Michelle have only been BeerTubers for less than three years, but they've garnered a pretty big following on their channel @ratemybeer1 . They have a backyard bar that rivals (or even surpasses) a place you'd go to buy a pint. I'll bet part of their success is due to the fact they're one of only a few BeerTube channels to feature a husband and wife duo. I'd say Paul and Michelle are very nice and friendly and their channel gives off that vibe. You definitely want to go to their house and throw back a few after watching a few of their video beer and mini keg reviews as well as their travel vlogs.Be sure to check out "Rate My Beer" on the socials here:YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@ratemybeer1TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@ratemybeer1Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/ratemybeer1Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/ratemybeer1

IPAs With Angela
If you follow craft beer accounts on Instagram, you've probably seen "IPAs With Angela" at some point. She's not a beer reviewer per se, but more of a Beer Influencer with almost 25k followers! She makes hilarious short sketch comedy-type reels that more often than not incorporate beer (and particularly IPAs) in the bits. Angela travels often, especially to beaches and other places that give her the opportunity to show off her beach body (which is no doubt one of the reasons she has such a large following). I wanted to know how she came to be such a lover of craft beer and especially of IPA, since she doesn't look anything like the typical neck bearded IPA connoisseur. Speaking of IPAs, check out our collab review of Other Half's Broccoli Hazy IPA here: https://youtu.be/DssPRwKls3EFollow Angela on the web here:Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/ipaswithangelaThreads: https://www.threads.net/@ipaswithangela YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@IpaswithangelaTikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@ipaswithangela Untappd: https://untappd.com/user/IPAs_w_Angela

DenisLD of "DM's Montreal Beer Reviews"
Does anyone remember @DenisLD Denis was one of the earliest BeerTubers and one of the few Canadians to do it. Although he's originally from Russia, he lived in Montreal and called his show "DM's Montreal Beer Reviews." We met at least once when he was traveling to NYC and stopped in Albany for a night to hang out with me and Jay. Denis's channel is still active though it looks like he hasn't posted a beer review in a decade or more. Hopefully he'll see this podcast and come out of retirement!Check out our review of Ithaca Flower Power IPA here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FTJiFif3kJkWatch the video version of this podcast here: https://youtu.be/uQ3GnFGhS8g

Henry X. (my occasional co-host 2009-2011)
If you were watching this show during the heydays of 2009-2012 you probably remember my occasional guest and co-host Henry. We met through mutual friends and we shared a lot of similar outlooks on life including a fondness for craft beer. He used to come over every Friday afternoon and we'd shoot at least one or two beer reviews. In 2012 he got married and moved to Vermont for a new job, so he obviously wasn't around as much once that happened. I've been trying to coax him to making a return via Streamyard hopefully sometime soon. So keep your fingers crossed for this long overdue reunion!Watch the video version of this podcast here: https://youtu.be/XOTwcrgXmbc

Life is Brewtiful
Not all BeerTubers make beer reviews, case in point: @LifeIsBrewtiful . Anthony has been making mini documentaries about beer history and niche styles for several years. He doesn't consider himself a historian, but he's certainly an educator of some sort. Anthony's also active duty military and has lived in various states and countries for the last 14 years. All this travel has given him the opportunity to try local beers and styles so niche you've probably never heard of them (e.g. Zoigl bier). We discuss all that, plus homebrewing, favorite beer styles and swap war stories in this podcast.Be sure to check out Life is Brewtiful here:https://www.youtube.com/@LifeIsBrewtifulhttps://www.instagram.com/lifeisbrewtifulonutube/https://untappd.com/user/LifeIsBrewtifulOnUTube
