    (Ep 217) Canice Screene

Ahead of the 2nd event of the LET Access Series season at Allegria Resort in Austria, I was pleased to be joined by LETAS pro Canice Screene as we discuss a lot of good stuff in the episode including a wild story at the end that you need to listen to!  Canice was born in Croydon area of London and has represented Republic of Ireland since the age of 13. In her own words she has always seen herself as being fully Irish with both her parents being Irish. Canice would start the game round about the age of 4/5 and would start competing at age of 8.  At the age of 13, Canice would win Surrey Rookie Tour & would also win South Regional U18's Championship before going to The States to Boston College and for Boston she would captain the team in the 1st Division for the final couple of years of her time there. Canice described herself as a great captain and enjoyed the responsibility! In 2025, she would turn pro and would start off quite well with 11th at Madaef Golf's Ladies Open and 22nd at Super Bock Ladies Open on LETAS and 32nd on LET at Dutch Ladies Open. At KMPG Women's Irish Open would see Canice finish 37th in her home country event. This year has been a good start having seen a T8th at Madaef Golf's Ladies Open in Morocco & last week coming up just shy of qualifying for US Women's Open at Riviera CC finishing in 5th place. A talented player with a lot of potential and it was a pleasure to speak with Canice with some good laughs had. All the best for 2026. (Ep 216) Rosie Belsham

In this latest episode I was joined by a rising star in the English game in current LET Access Series pro Rosie Belsham who takes to her 2nd season as a pro in a couple of weeks time when LET Access Series resumes in Austria! We find out about her trip to South Africa with Sunshine Ladies Tour and the highlight being going to see LIV Golf in Johannesburg followed by a Calvin Harris DJ set!  Rosie is from Whitley Bay, just outside of Newcastle-upon-Tyne and although she played Hockey to a good level as well as Golf she started the game at the age of 9 alongside her mum. She currently plays out of Maften Hall Golf Club who offer her luxurious practice facilities and support in her journey.  Rosie would go to Baylor University in Waco, Texas and would play for England Girls between 2018-2020 & played from 2020-2024 for England. In 2018, Rosie would win a national title at Fairhaven by a staggering 18 shots. Rosie alongside Annabell Fuller, Charlotte Heath, Caley McGinty, Lianna Bailey, Lottie Woad, Emily Toy & Amelia Williamson would win both 2021 & 2022 European Ladies Amateur Team Championship Gold Medals. In 2023, Rosie would represent Great Britain & Ireland at Vagliano Trophy at Royal Dornoch losing 13.5-10.5 but a great experience nonetheless. In 2025 would see Rosie turn professional and would ply her trade on LET Access Series starting off with a 7th at Santander Golf Tour Avila alongside a couple of solid top 30's at Rose Ladies Open & Hauts De France (both T29th). To start this year in Morocco she would finish T13th at Madaef Golf's Ladies Open.  Thanks Rosie for chatting, all the best in your quest for a LET card! (Ep 215) Chloé Salort

In this episode I was pleased to be joined by 9x French National Champion & 2020 European Ladies Amateur Championship runner up Chloé Salort after starting off her preparations for 2026 in South Africa on Sunshine Ladies Tour with that managing to gain a start on Ladies European Tour at Joburg Ladies Open.  Chloé started the game at 9 years old and was also a very good swimmer before taking up Golf full time. A 9x French National Champion at all levels & representing France in 10 consecutive years Chloé would also win European Nations Cup in 2017 as well as finishing runner up at 2020 European Ladies Amateur Championship in Slovakia.  Chloé would go down the States route for education and would enroll at Kent State University and would also have a 26th place finish at Lacoste Ladies Open de France as an amateur. She would turn professional in 2023. Last year on LET Access Series, Chloé would have 9 Top 25 finishes on tour and goes into this season with a good sense of optimism.
