This site is dedicated to one of the best Morning Zoo formats in Northern California.The founder and creator of the FM102 Morning Zoo, Chris Collins passed away in July of 2025. He was a friend, colleague, mentor, and a finicky pain the ass Ringmaster that put together talented people from all different walks of life into a number one radio morning show that put Sacramento’s FM102 at the top of the Capital city’s broadcast market.The early days of the FM102 Morning Zoo broadcast were never preserved before the Zoo was dismantled by corporate management that had no talent but held the purse strings.Chris Collins went on to pursue his love for sports broadcasting and became a color commentator for the San Jose Sharks.He was given the opportunity to reconvene the Zoo from an intern who once worked on the original Zoo and was now in charge of a network of radio stations in the Chico, California market.Chris called upon his founding partner, Mike Reynol
