Jenny of oldstone (cover) by Florence and the machine. vibes web3 music competition week16
https://3speak.tv/watch?v=chuksmeezy/grssnusj I'm here again for the vibes week16 music competition. I decided to sing a song sang at the finale of the series "Games of thrones" it's titled "Jenny of oldstone" by Florence and the machine. I love the song because I can relate to it. It talks about reality, about life and death; about the people we've lost and those who have gone before us, reminding us of the fragility of life. Each time I listen to the song I embrace the meaning behind its lyrics and reflect deeply on what life really is Here's the lyrics: High in the halls of the kings who are gone Jenny would dance with her ghosts The ones she had lost and the ones she had found And the ones who had loved her the most The ones who'd been gone for so very long She couldn't remember their names They spun her around on the damp old stones Spun away all her sorrow and pain And she never wanted to leave, never wanted to leave Never wanted to leave, never wanted to leave They danced through the day And into the night through the snow that swept through the hall From winter to summer then winter again 'Til the walls did crumble and fall And she never wanted to leave, never wanted to leave Never wanted to leave, never wanted to leave And she never wanted to leave, never wanted to leave Never wanted to leave, never wanted to leave

My stage dance performance at our senior colleague's sendforth party
https://3speak.tv/watch?v=chuksmeezy/hzxjpgvy Well, after a long search for a community where I could display my talent, I found one thanks to @jesuslnrs Some months back, I was invited to perform at our senior colleagues send forth party. They were about graduating from medical college so an event was held in their honour. The preparation wasn't an easy process. I had some sleepless nights and horrible nightmares just because I was going to perform, sounds crazy right? But actually, It was all because it was my first dance performance since my 5 years stay in medical college. I've always been a die-hard lover of dance but was never ready to actively display my talent to the world... Let's just say I really didn't have the strength to put on some nice pair of shoes, a nice jeans, and shirt to make a video outside my space. I saw this invitation as an opportunity to eventually step out of my comfort zone and do that which I do the most — dance. It was my first performance in a crowd comprising of hundreds of people. I danced to "Another love song" by Neyo. In Nigeria, its a norm to spray money on an artist who's performance is quite thrilling and it did happen to me in the middle of the performance. I'm glad it all turned out well. I became the talk of the school for a moment and it was a great feeling indeed. I Sort of felt like a mini god 😂 After the performance I was like: "It wasn't bad afterall." Sometimes I guess all we need is to believe in ourselves, step out and do what we love doing - that's where we'll find our happiness 💗 Here's the original video of the song I danced to <iframe width="640" height="480" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/9jI1GyMlggo" allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen" webkitallowfullscreen="webkitallowfullscreen" mozallowfullscreen="mozallowfullscreen" frameborder="0" >

My favourite hobby: "I danced to blow my mind" by Davido ft Chris brown
https://3speak.tv/watch?v=chuksmeezy/joqxhmnk It's just another amazing day. If there's one thing I've always had a die-hard passion for, it's dancing. I started about 14 years back, though I started performing at college about 3 years ago. Well, this morning I woke up and thought: hey, why don't I make a nice dance video? So I went out with a friend of mine who took a video of me dancing — she's pretty good at making videos though 😉. Well, before making this post I searched for an active dance community but found none but then I remembered that dancing is a way of life, it's an hobby; something I do on a daily, especially for good dancers like me... it's what I think though, so I decided to share this amazing video I made with you guys. It's just a medical student doing what he loves to do the most. I hope you do enjoy it. Feel free to let me in on your thoughts.🤗

As always, i'm into songs which have an important meaning in our lives. Songs that speak volume and life. sometimes, songs are about the message than the voice or beats and that's what im attracted to — meaning!!

"Billionaire" by Bruno Mars (cover) vibes web3 music competition week 9
https://3speak.tv/watch?v=chuksmeezy/uzigunhp Hey guys. It's my third participation for the vibes music competition, week 9 and I thought of singing a song which meant a whole lot to me. It's "Billionaire" by Bruno Mars. In my ephemeral journey in life, I just wish I could be financially buoyant so I could have the things I never got the chance to have, and live the life I never got to live. A balanced life... not the type I'm living, not the life filled with incessant struggling and depression. No one wants to remain on a stagnant plane of financial growth and this is what the song explores. It's about having wealth but not just having it for ourselves but extending it through expression of love and compassion to the People around us. Listen to the lyrics and not just the voice or beat, for that's where the true meaning of a song lies. Greetings!!

"Amazing grace" cover vibes web3 week 7
https://3speak.tv/watch?v=chuksmeezy/gnmnpofr It's my first time participating in the the vibes web3 competition. I thought it'd be nice to give it a shot and make an entry for this week's competition. Well, I sang "Amazing grace", a popular hymn song, because it meant a lot to me during certain days when I gave up on life and when I was weary. It revived my strength in my darkest moments, something I'll never forget. I've always loved singing though, I can't go a day without voicing out a song, sometimes it even gets my college roommate angry😅. But that's what you get for staying around a guy who loves something with all his heart. Music means a lot to me, it's my go-to in moments of despair. I even had to create a twitter account just for the sole purpose of this vibes web3 competition. I'm not a twitter person but I'm glad I found this place because just within a day, I've learnt a whole lot about twitter and attended the popular "twitter space" for the first time in my life... I guess we learn every day and I'm happy to be part of that process.

I invited my colleagues to join me in the trending "tshwala bam" challenge (dance video)
https://3speak.tv/watch?v=chuksmeezy/vmmxjoqh It was a really fun day Indeed. I invited my colleagues to join me in making a video to the trending dance challenge "twshala bami challenge". I was the last person in the video😉. Well, I came up with the idea and thought it would be fun if my classmates participated in the challenge along with me. You know, just one last fun moment together before exiting through the doors of medical college. I tried teaching them the steps but some were still as rigid as ever😅 but I guess that's what made the dance fun. It was somewhat difficult gathering my classmates together. I spoke to so many of them about the video, but most pulled out at the end, just when we were about shooting the video. It was then and only then, I found out how difficult it is to take people out of their comfort zone. At the end, we managed to convince some people and It eventually turned out to be quite interesting. We laughed and made fun of each other. It was an escape from school stress, a rare moment that we'll all look back at someday and smile at our last days in school. Well, check out for the last guy "MJ" which is me😜 Let me in on your thoughts.

Who said medical students can't dance🕺 (dancing to ten toes by Chris brown)
https://3speak.tv/watch?v=chuksmeezy/fvlkkcbv I've decided to display my dancing skills here on hive. It's my first time in this community and I know some people who might come across this post will be surprised to see that I actually break dance. Dancing has been my thing right from when I was a little kid. Back then, I would listen to Chris brown and Michael Jackson while imitating their dance moves. This even earned me the nickname "Mj" which stands for "Michael Jackson". I'm the type of guy who's ready to dance anywhere and everywhere. Well, you could refer to me as that crazy dance dude, and yeah, I wouldn't complain. Rather, I'll put on a pretty good smile. I'm just a guy, doing what I love to do best - dance. If there's something I've learned: never hide your talent and don't be afraid of what the world has to say. In subsequent episodes, I'll be posting more recent dance videos and live performances. Let me in on your thoughts 😁❤️
