Clarity: United Together

In this episode of Clarity: United Together, we discussed the topics of mass incarceration, the school to prison pipeline, the trap that cocaine set for black people in the 80s, redlining, and some pieces of history.

On episode 3, we dive a little bit deeper into the black woman's perspective in America, and what kind of things black women often have to think about and go through throughout their lives. We also discuss a document called the "Willy Lynch Letter" and use this as an example as to why it's important to educate ourselves on the history of racial issues in order to understand the generational and psychological effects of it that still plague our country today.

In episode 2 we continue to discuss the issues regarding race that are plaguing our country more in depth. We touch on how we each see where our own spiritual paths fit into finding a solution for our country's issues, we touch on different perspectives of being a black person in America between men and women, and we also dive deeper into some personal stories that some of us have been experienced.

In this first episode we briefly discuss some of the racial injustices plaguing our country, and we urge everyone to have conversations like this with those around them to learn from each other.
