What comes out appears to be communications from a man who recently died. What makes it even more strange is that, in fact-checking it, she discovered that the spectral individual really had died in America while she was in Europe. She didn't know that at the time. A ridiculous assertion--until he's told by a linguist that the monolingual American medium is producing perfect archaic Chinese from the time-period of the sage.
