Live-coding audio in the C programming language. The C programming language is commonly used for systems and embedded programming (e.g. the Linux kernel). It is compiled into efficient machine code before execution. Digital audio uses streams of numbers, typically 44100 or 48000 of them every second for each channel. Audio processing algorithms operate on these numbers. Live-coding allows the algorithms to be changed while they are running. Clive's hot-swap mechanism preserves memory so that things keep going smoothly. This channel will feature live-coding screen recordings, as well as short compositions with accompanying music videos (often rendered with Fragmentarium / FragM). https://mathr.co.uk/clive/ Clive homepage https://github.com/3Dickulus/FragM FragM homepage
