The 10-80-10 of Human Performance
The Coachspeak Podcast has been up and running for over a month. We've had some amazing guests tell us about the journey to finding their WHY, but now and we're going to shift the focus from our guests to you- the listener. Our first 'deep dive' topic is the 10-80-10. I've used the 10-80-10 in my classroom for over eight years, and I believe it relates to any 'team' in any field, ie. police squads, military platoons, football teams, AP Government class rosters, sales teams, etc. Essentially, the 10-80-10 says the lower-10% of your people are "lost" and need guidance to the basics of having clarity (goals and plans) and confidence (Bandura's self-efficacy). The middle 80% of your group are "found" and have clarity and confidence but needs that extra Conviction to the Drive necessary to become elite. The top-10% are your "elite," they need no motivation or extra time, they're the best of the best and inspiring to be around. They need to learn how to 'hang loose' and to take advantages of opportunities to rest and recover. Find out how to get the highest levels of performance out of the 10-80-10 in your life by listening to the latest episode of Coachspeak Podcast. Fulfill your Purpose and guide those around you to finding and fulfilling their Purpose every day.
