The Playbook: A Novel
A guitarist, a philosopher, and a natural-born leader with a ponytail walk onto a football field. In the heart of a small mountain town where football reigns supreme and tradition casts long shadows, Ms. Chelsea Deal defies the norm. Amid the echoes of clashing helmets and the roar of a crowd, Chelsea, a former big-city lawyer now cast as the interim head coach for the undefeated Rabon Knights, becomes the unexpected mentor for two young players whose dreams echo her own. Palmer, a reclusive teenager brimming with untapped talent, and Ty, an old soul fighting the gravest of battles, join forces with Chelsea to overcome their differences and fight for a championship. As the season unfolds, so do the lives of these characters as each one strives to defeat personal challenges. Chelsea, with her keen instincts and generous spirit, seeks to rewrite the rules in a town slow to accept her. Palmer, elusive and insecure, navigates the pain of a dysfunctional family and the pull of interests beyond football. And Ty, the quarterback whose bright future is threatened by a deadly adversary, searches for strength in the power of unlikely friendships. From the smoky aroma of Southern barbecue to the indomitable spirit of a team that refuses to yield, The Playbook captures the essence of what it means to fight for every inch, every down, every dream. as a team. This story reminds us of the possibilities when we allow our instincts to take charge-when the game is no longer just a game, but a catalyst for life-altering experiences. Join us on the field and beyond, as Chelsea, Palmer, and Ty show us that sometimes, the most profound victories don't come with a score. Sometimes, when we break through our defenses, both literal and metaphorical, we find glory in unexpected places. And, sometimes, the games aren't just played, but felt, and the characters aren't just written, but lived.

NEMESIS: LIFE IS BUT A BAD DREAM
Nemesis is an utterly immersive twist of fact and fiction. Memphis, Tennessee has risen to become the city known for the most crime in the United States. A community that once thrived has succumbed to widespread fear. Fueled by rising anger, many residents unite through social media in protest against the relentless waves of shootings, thefts, and assaults. Frustrated by the lack of answers and support from City Officials, concerned citizens are met only with bureaucratic indifference. Residents are faced with the stark reality of an overburdened justice system where jails are bursting at the seams, ejecting offenders back onto the streets within hours of arrest, courtesy of the flawed administrative policies. United by a common determination, a group of friends converge to form the Blues City Vigilantes—a modern-day band of Robin Hood Crusaders. Amidst horrific circumstances, Dr. Jorge Jefferson, a brilliant Neuropsychologist from River City NeuroCognition Clinic, unearths the roots of the barbaric criminal behavior. In a gripping turn of events, the Blues City Vigilantes take control, unleashing justice to cleanse the streets of merciless thugs.

Do you have your book in audio, and how well do they sell?
Too much competition in printing hard and soft-cover books and the market is oversaturated. It is a growing market for those individuals, who plan to publish a book for the first time, and for those writers who've written and published multiple books, but are struggling in sales.
-
5
Should authors narrate their work and why?
Audiobooks is great source of business for authors. However, some authors prefer to hire someone else to do their work for them such as a voice actor. Should writers take advantage of narrating their work or let someone else take the credit?

What do you prefer. A fairytale or cliffhanger?
Some audiences or groups enjoy a fairytale (happily ever after) story. Compared to others who enjoy a cliffhanger (open-ended) story where it leaves the audience or group with more questions than answers and look forward to a sequel. Which one do you prefer?
-
3
What’s your number one goal with your work?
For some time now I have been asked if what I do is just a hobby and if it's my goal? Yes, many writers out there just do it for fun or to write for themselves like a memoir where the writer can look back at their notes to recount a memory, but that is not my goal. My goal is to inspire others while at the same time enjoying the work that I do as an author and maybe become a full-time author.

Books to screen
Over the years there have been great movies that originally came from great stories written by authors, who no one has ever heard of, and sometimes from popular authors, However, some movies do not provide the same magic as their counterparts and leave quite a bit of material out of the story. This sometimes upsets the audience and the author, because of the changes made in the story to make the movie more enjoyable for the audience. Is this fair to the author, and fans of the story?

This inspired Mathew, so he advised me, that he would someday write and publish a book.
