Living Sustainably Beyond the Green
In this important episode, Jacqui discusses how we need to apply a sustainable approach to all the things that we decide to do and take action on. Sustainability is so much more than living green. Whilst this is crucially important too, we need to apply this ‘green thinking’ to our energy, time and the decisions we make, to live a sustainable life that gives us balance, wellness and purpose. If you want to discuss this episode further or any other queries about how we can work together next year, get in touch on [email protected] Stay tuned for the next episode in this FINAL Mini-Season for 2024, as we build your capacity with Community Matters Media. Head Vs Heart and Where to Find the Middle Ground
In this episode, Jacqui takes us through the challenges of seeing life through a black and white lens and navigating the difficult area in between, where all the most conflicting questions arise. This is where that personal work is important and this is how we learn to navigate head vs heart. “If you’re anything like me, you lead with your heart. When you do this, there’s a lot of room for error and emotion, and at times, you may not be making the right decisions,” Jacqui said. If you had time to reflect, and slow down, then maybe you would make a different decision.Head vs heart - which one is the right one for you? How to resolve this? Reflection, time with self, and getting to know the core of yourself is essential to this growth. You have to understand your head and how your heart aligns to this.If you want to discuss this episode further or any other queries about how we can work together next year, get in touch on [email protected] Stay tuned for the next episode in this FINAL Mini-Season for 2024, as we build your capacity with Community Matters Media. Pitching Your Story
In this episode of Community Creatives, we explore the necessity of learning how to pitch your story in a strategic way that benefits organisations and builds strong #relationships. Jacqui highlights the key factors to consider when targeting your pitch in terms of understanding intentions and core values, and navigating 'pain points' in the industry when working with busy people in the #NotForProfit space, who are time poor and in need of real support that actually assists them."Bringing the lead to the people in these sectors is a powerful tool to use in order to grow your cause and 'give back' to your community," Jacqui explains."The value of 'lived experience' when sharing your story cannot be understated, and if you are brave enough to share your story after you have experienced #trauma, then I applaud you for your courage."Stay tuned for more episodes of Season 2 as we build your capacity with Community Matters Media.Music by Bensound.com/royalty-free-musicLicense code: U6EWJCDDX8XNCHJ7I’d love to know what you thought about this episode and what content you would like to see next!
