A game between the Cowboys and the Commanders had the guys risk their pride by wearing the opposing team's jersey. It was an unexpected win for Ryan and Sung kept his promise. As the year wraps up, Ryan and Sung go over classics and new favorites for the holiday season. A few favorites are: Home Alone, Love Actually, and Elf but one that we didn’t expect, Ghost Of Girlfriends Past. The amount of knowledge these two have of romcoms will surprise you. The team tries to recognize what they are thankful for and what holiday dishes draw them in. Team Turkey vs. Team Ham, to some - Honey Baked Ham is just a ham and to another - not all hams are created equal. Although, we love our family, tensions can be high when too many relatives gather at the same time. Finding how new traditions can be formed, even if it may have started out from a hint of envy. Some family traditions can be easily mistaken as a pub crawl, which, makes Sung's Thanksgiving the unofficial winner. The only problem is that it's in his hometown, not in L.A. It's never easy losing a loved one but it's appalling to have a loved one taken from you by the people who are supposed to protect and to serve. Today we have a tragic story about happened this past May to Yin’s twin brother Yong. Diagnosed about 15 years ago with bipolar disorder, dealing with an episode from Yong wasn't an unfamiliar situation for the family. Yong's final episode escalated quickly when a DMH (Department of Mental Health) worker ended up calling 911. The events of that day do not add up with the narrative that was provided by the authorities. Body cam footage shows a different story from what was being told by the authorities. Having Yong's body snuck out the opposite exit of where the family was asked to wait. The family being asked to wait at the station to find answers, while no answers were provided, the authorities quickly had a press conference and wrapped up right before the family returned to their home. A tragic loss that could have been avoided and was completely mishandled after the fact. Please help Yin bring awareness to this incident and follow his IG @JusticeForYong for information on any future news and events. With the Olympics coming to an end we're left with some mixed feelings. Funny how the world bands together to cheer on all their athletes and how everyone is quick to judge when it comes to a bit of controversy. Breaking and Boxing had their fair share of heat but one of the more interesting moments turn out to be the French pole vaulter. The gentleman who won the hearts of women and is the envy of most men, got an offer of $250K for an hour cam performance. Quite the consolation prize after placing 12th. Thinking of all the people that will be flying in we are all dreading and looking forward to 2028, as LA is to host the next summer Olympics. Congrats to all the winners and good luck to all the athletes who are training to be competitors in four years time. Fire fighter and reality show stud, Young Jin An drops by Conversasians during his visit in L.A. to attend his cousins wedding. Sung’s sisters wedding brought in a full Yu family mob. As Sung and Young are cousins for a parent whos one of 12 siblings, they even have neices that are older than them. With Sung attending to his sister’s festivities, this week we have Jess and Ry. Jess and Ry both share some W’s after they found themselves identifying some problematic moments. Family traditions and dynamics are different for everyone. Ryan finds himself graviting towards his wife’s family gatherings over his own, which in-turn had rippled in to having his family start some new traditions. Jess having survived consecutive pivitoal landmarks ended up neglecting the needs of her main support system. Even after having awknowledged a concern, without some outside perspective one could find themselves ill-equiped. Difficult times will never stop suffocating our lives. Ben & Ryan is joined by Kinja pupil and rising star Justin Park. Justin, a Korean-American singer/songwriter from Los Angeles, reveals that ABDC was a big part of why he chose to be a performer. This was pre-instagram and when Youtube was just starting to become the beast it is today. ABDC videos were on Youtube where Justin began his journey. Ben and Ryan bring on one of the coolest girls they know, Cammy. Cammy is set to travel back to India where she and her cousin, 'Enfield is Prayer,' provide a tour through India on motorcycles. Cammy’s been traveling back several times a year to run these tours sharing some crazy moments on her expeditions. Ben's experience of India starts similar but the day-to-day goes a completely different direction. Ryan suffers a case of what he calls ‘Oldness’ and makes an effort to be more social and active after work. Cammy and the guys find that we all struggle with our parent’s expectations. Some have come along further in that journey than others but we always find that parents have moments that catch us off guard.
