I’ve always been known as someone who talks a lot - but having met a lot of incredible people on the way and learning so much I wanted to share thoughts, learnings and exciting people with the world.I started Conversations with Colour to shine a light on the incredible work, advocacy and kindness that my guests and I create.     Conversations with Colour feat. Sharmila Pandya

    After around 4 years apart where we didn’t communicate due to a string of abuse in my life. I stepped away from my family, but having reconnected in 2022, my mum, Sharmila Pandya joins me in discussing our journey to reconciliation. We also touch upon the impact of the wider community, and my Indian wedding that happened in 2023.     Conversations with Colour feat. Jords

    This episode I'm joined by a musician that’s MOBO award nominated, winner of the BBC 1xtra Hotlist, and 2 UK RnB Awards and my friend. Jords is a Croydon-based artist that has been on a meteoric rise since the release of his motion picture-assisted project Almost an Adult in 2020, and has now seen success with over 20 million streams. Jords and I discuss the music industry, his very many accomplishments, books, favourite tracks and the meaning music has for us. Trigger warnings for this episode include mentions of domestic abuse.

    Conversations with Colour feat. Tanya Marwaha

    This episode is with lovely Tanya Mawarha. Tanya is a youth activist and due to her own struggles with mental health, in March 2021, she founded a youth mental health charity, called Championing Youth Minds. The aim was for young people to help other young people care for their mental well-being daily. Since then she’s won multiple awards, spoken at 10 downing street and this past Summer launched Baton of Hope which was the biggest suicide prevention and awareness initiative the UK has ever seen, spanning 12 cities in 12 days. Tanya and I discuss her mental health journey, why she created her charity, and more about how people can support.     This episode is with one of my best friends, bridesmaid and BBC journalist Amie Liebowitz. Whilst being a social, politics and society journalist - we instead discuss the pain of friendship breakups, the insecurities felt from them and how to overcome them.     This is the first episode of Conversations with Colour. I get to chat with June Angelides MBE is best known for starting the UK's first child-friendly coding school for mums, Mums in Tech, and is also one of a handful of Black Women in Venture Capital. We discuss her journey through the tech industry and into venture capital as well as family and a few fun bits in between. June has made such an impact for women, and women of colour

    This episode is with the exciting Julian George. Julian is known to be a serial creator having founded many companies including The Future Plate whereby leading Black chefs to use their culinary past and vision to influence the world palate and amplify African and Caribbean cuisine & culture. We discuss Julian’s journey into the creative foray and then onto developing The Future Plate.
