En el año 1962 Chelique Sarabia rinde homenaje a sus amigos músicos trinitarios...y se plantea este proyecto para que fuera interpretado por el músico bajista El Negro José Quintero, quien tenía una cálida y grata voz grave..y no aceptó la propuesta, termina Chelique grabándo las primeras canciones e incluye dos de ellas "Cortando caña" y "Tú intención" en la producción del disco "Chelimanías" donde presenta a María Teresa Chacín y Míster Calypso con sus canciones de la nueva ola en Chelisón. Seguidamente graba el disco completo de Míster Calypso, con gran éxito, participación exclusiva como atracción del mes en el Show de Reny, donde se disfrazada de dicho personaje Mr. Joseph Caraballo. Al finalizar esa temporada, lo devela en cámara...y así se descubre que Míster Calypso era Chelique Sarabia....el personaje en muy corto tiempo lo arropó....y él quería seguir siendo Compositor y Productor.
