Bri’ana Oluwadamilola Oniru-Edwards known as Dami Oniru is a professional Nigerian recording R&B/Soul artist, songwriter, and producer born in Atlanta, Georgia, and raised in between Lagos Nigeria, and Atlanta Georgia. She is best known for her domestic breakout hit “Iyawo” and her sophomore single “Fallin”, after taking a two-year hiatus she released her debut project “Bri’s Lounge” in 2019. The name "Dami Oniru" was derived from a studio session where she randomly sang her name, and envisioned people singing it back and that lightbulb moment stuck. Her sound incorporates elements of R&B, Soul, African instruments/sounds, with a sprinkle of Trap.
