ABOUT “TRUST” This album started off as just a single. Sometime last year, I was studying Ps. 20:7, “Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.” (NIV) and God was showing me how this verse is so relevant even in our present generation. God has been taking me though the significance of “Chariots” and “Horses”, and how easy it is to trust in them than in Him! And it’s so easy to read this verse and just move on like it doesn’t apply to us, after all no one is riding horses and chariots on a day-to-day basis. Chariots Chariot is like an abode, a shield, a shelter, essentially the life we have built for ourselves! How easy it is to trust in our own wisdom, experience, prowess and achievements. Horses One thing peculiar about horses is their speed and God was teaching me how easy it is for us in this time and generation to ignore the PROCESS! We want things done quickly, faster, nobody is willing to wait on God, in fact we think God is too slow and his timing does not work with ours! These are some of the things God was revealing to me in my closet, and I started writing the song “Trust” literally from this verse. But then as I continued in this verse, God started giving me more songs, a few of them I had already released as a single, but all of a sudden 1song became 5songs, I thought I would release an EP at some point… but 5 songs became 8songs!!! And here we are, a FULL ALBUM! This album is one of my best projects so far! And from the verse I just talked about, every single song is a reminder to ALWAYS put our TRUST in Jesus! Every single song points back to God!! But then as I continued in this verse, God started giving me more songs, a few of them I had already released as a single, but all of a sudden 1song became 5songs, I thought I would release an EP at some point… but 5 songs became 8songs!!! And here we are, a FULL ALBUM! This album is one of my best projects so far! And from the verse I just talked about, every single song is a reminder to ALWAYS put our TRUST in Jesus! Every single song points back to God!! And my sincere prayer is that as many people that listen to this song, they will experience God in a new way and be encouraged to put their TRUST in nothing else, no chariots, no horses, no man, but JESUS!! I was inspired by Psalms 103:1-2: “Bless the LORD, O my soul: And all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all his benefits" to write this song. It’s so easy to fall back into worrying about the things we don’t have, things we lack and forget how much God has done, how he’s been faithful even up till now. It's so easy to lose our sense of wonder, no longer getting amazed at every great thing God does in our lives, perhaps not even aware of the great things God has and is still doing, all because we only think about all our issues, problems, lacks and wants. This song is to remind us of how good and faithful God is and has been through the years. Even in the midst of our trials and troubles, he has remained truly faithful!

My new single "Greater" is my song of victory! Thinking about how the past few years have gone down in history, all the news, sadness, disappointments, death, pain, suffering and so many unpleasant situations, I've come to remind you that our God is still alive, this battle is the Lord's. We are not defeated because our God is a champion, he has never lost and he will never fail!! Yes, the situations seem real, and we are questioned constantly if our God is still able to save, just like the story of David & Goliath. But our God is GREATER than any and everything. These were the thoughts in my heart when I started writing this song. We have dwelled too long here, and our giants keep boasting, saying there is no help for us, but I refuse to believe or accept the report of the enemy! So I started writing the verse, "Who are you great mountain? Who are you great wall? I serve a God who's mighty, his power none can contain. He has never lost and he will never fail!". I pray this song blesses, encourages and uplift someone out there. I pray it reminds the world that no matter what we are going through, no matter the situation, our God is still GREATER and he's in control.

This song is so dear to me and is my heart's cry daily to God. I was at a point in prayer where all I could say was "You are my desire", because I have found that nothing else can fill the thirst, the hunger and the space inside. No matter what we do or seek, only Jesus can truly satisfy. I felt God's presence heavily and closer than the very air i breathe. I realized in that moment, nothing else touches the heart of God more than a heart that truly pants after HIM. Not what he can give, or what he can do, but just HIM. Then I started writing this song, with help from my wife (Augustina Ojo) & little sis (Eunice Ojo). I pray as you listen, your heart will be connected to GOD and the fire of his love will be rekindled in your heart. I am so grateful to have my dear sister and friend - Christiana Washington be a part of this song. Our connection was so divine, she is such a sincere, unique, humble and anointed worshipper! One of the best I've ever worked with!

Solid Rock Written & Composed By Daniel Ojo Available on all digital platforms September 2, 2020 Wednesday night, I was in the living room, resting after a long busy day of work and I had the impression to pick up my guitar. (A number of times God has spoken to me or given me a song this way). So I picked up my guitar, my book & pen, and God led me to Psalms 46 and told me to start writing from the chapter. This is so surreal for me to be able to write an entire song right from the scriptures, one of my best parts of song-writing. It was just like God was putting the melodies in my heart and I was just listening and writing as they come. This year 2020 out of other years has been a very different one, full of many ups and downs, losses and disappointments, success and failures, despair, fear, anxiety, pain and to top it all, the relentless COVID-19 disease which has taken a lot of lives and essentially put the world in a stand still and out of order!! But in the midst of all this, God is reminding us I AM YOUR SOLID ROCK!! Be not moved, no matter what is going on, I AM YOUR REFUGE & STRENGTH, just be still and know I AM GOD. PS. 46:1 says "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." PS. 46:3-5 says "Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early." This is the entirety of what this song "Solid Rock" is all about and I am just grateful to be able to share God's word and message in a song. I have no doubt this song is going to be a huge blessing to the world because God's word is TRUE.
