Dawn’s Liberation Notes
by Dawn
What is this podcast about? In a nutshell, I got this idea from a beautiful Korean series titled, “My Liberation Notes.” I thought…why not write down my liberation notes or start my own Liberation Club, to help myself grow through what I had been struggling with for a while now. I will be sharing a few my favorite books, art, or music; and how they helped me heal and grow. I hope you enjoy being part of this journey and that you feel, you are not alone.

Introduction to Dawn's Liberation Notes
Welcome to Dawn's Liberation Notes. What is this podcast about? In a nutshell, I got this idea from a beautiful Korean series titled, “My Liberation Notes.” I thought…why not write down my liberation notes or start my own Liberation Club, to help myself grow through what I had been struggling with for a while now. What do I need to be liberated from? Negative patterns, fixed mindset, and self-isolation for starters. I was feeling stagnant emotionally and mentally. I have struggled with both anxiety and bouts of depression throughout my adulthood, and although I sought help for this; it always returned. I slowly began to recognize some of my issues were related to unhealed trauma, codependency and even imposter syndrome. I needed to work on myself. I’m still a work in progress, but I’ve made some strides and that is what this podcast will be about….it’s for me but it is also for anyone who desires to listen to something that helps them feel they’re not alone. It’s for the wisdom seekers, the future healers, and anyone who has found hope or strength through books, art, and music. I won’t always talk about books but let’s face it; the more you read, the more you learn; so for now, The first few episodes will focus on a few great books that helped me on this journey of liberation.
