Dead Dad Poets Society

When Anna and Lily Cork's father died, leaving behind thousands of documents of his poems, musings, and correspondence, they both had an immediate thought: we need to turn this into a book. Turns out writing a book is hard, so instead, they made a podcast. Episodes released weekly cover a multitude of topics, including grief, love, hope, forgiveness, mental health, trauma, legacy, the meaning of life, and the front page of Yahoo News.

    Happy Campers

Anna and Lily welcome you back with some long, intense musings on TTDP and a brief, mean demolition of Justin Timberlake’s character before diving into a couple Bunk Notes that Greg sent them while they attended sleep away camp. They read some passages from books and Anna’s dramatic notes app poetry and discuss the process of grief, the way people treat and understand you over time in the wake of a loss, and gauging the “correct” reaction to it all. Additionally, they ruminate on personal grief in the face of a mass grief event like the current genocide in Gaza, and how the hierarchy of suffering factors into it all.

  3. 11

    My Grief Is An Opp

Anna and Lily come in complaining and giggling and then quickly start sobbing as they read a note their dad wrote about dealing with the loss of a parent. 4. 10

    Nonprofit Snark With The Drumpster
