The Witch at the End of Old Farm Road

“I love Halloween!” said Evie, twirling in her beautiful princess costume. “And this year I think we should trick-or-treat down Old Farm Road.”  “Really? That sounds scary,” said her best friend Oliver, pulling at the neck of his green frog costume. “I heard that a witch lives at the end of Old Farm Road.” “That’s exactly why I want to go,” said Evie, grabbing Oliver’s hand. “Come on!”

    The Zombie Squad

Luna and Lila were sisters. They didn’t like to wash their faces or comb their hair, and they especially didn’t like to brush their teeth. “You girls should be careful,” warned Mom. “Zombies love dirt, especially near the brains.” The sisters didn’t care if they were dirty and they had never seen a zombie anyway. But that was about to change…

Tilly loved to imagine, but sometimes she would have a spooky imagining, and that made it hard to fall asleep.  “Mom? I think there are monsters in my room? What do I do?” “What a wonderful imagination you have, Tilly,” said her Mom, as Tilly climbed into bed. "When that happens and you feel scared, you can call Aunt Agnes.” “Call Aunt Agnes?” said Tilly. “Who is Aunt Agnes?”

    Booger Nose Halloween

Susanna’s eyes popped open. It was morning but not just any morning. Tonight was Halloween! Susanna jumped out of bed and ran to the bathroom. This year Halloween was going to be perfect!  Susanna glanced in the mirror. And she would go trick or treating with all her friends and…Wait. What was that? Susana looked again into the mirror. “Oh No! I have a booger-nose!” Nothing went right after that. Would Susanna's booger nose ruin Halloween?

No More Room in the Bathroom!

Alex lives in a creaky, old, and definitely haunted house. He doesn't mind it too much - the chains dragging around the attic at night, the poltergeist opening and closing doors, the ghosts disappearing up the staircase. He is used to their hauntings. It's bedtime and Alex goes into the bathroom to brush his teeth. One by one, all the creatures in the house join him to do their bedtime routine too. Alex tries to be patient and share the space but eventually there is just no more room in the bathroom!
