Originally from France, the Berlin-based DJ and producer mixes dreamy, pitched-down techno beats with dark disco and Indie Dance, punctuated by lighter, floating melodies to create colorful and eclectic DJ sets. Making a name for herself in remarkably little time, she has played in less than two years at renowned festivals such as Fusion Festival, Bucht der Träumer Festival, and Mystic Creatures Festival, as well as famous Berlin and German clubs. Recently, she has begun performing hybrid sets that incorporate live piano, adding an organic, expressive layer to her dynamic repertoire. Today's deep story by Anna Panilli is a wonderful journey into the more emotional sounds . She combines heartwarming melodies with catchy vocals and covers this mixture with her own fresh ideas. Robert Romain, an established artist who has been active in the scene for almost two decades and has helped shape it, is taking the helm today. His musical journey began in 2008 at the age of 17 on MDR Sputnik radio. A year later, he was nominated for the Tresor Awards of the Tresor Club Berlin and was voted one of the best newcomer DJs of 2009. Since then, he has performed in countless clubs and at many festivals, including the SonneMondSterne Festival, the Love Sea Festival, the Sass Club, and the Open Beatz Festival. Since 2018, his focus has been on melodic house with strong influences from indie dance, organic house, deep house, and melodic techno. In 2019, he founded the label Different Identities for his own music productions. Since 2023, he has been part of the Love Foundation in Berlin and Magdeburg. Robert is also co-founder and initiator of the Contrasts in Symbiosis – CoSy Festival. We are delighted to present a wonderfully curated set full of emotional vocals and playful vocals.

Lets welcome Mia Kober for our next deep story. She is a New Zealand-based music curator renowned for her ability to craft silky sounds, soulful basslines, and curate immersive experiences. Mia’s mission goes beyond the decks she is a passionate advocate for creating immersive environments that transcend performance. She is also a founding member of Silk Collective, a mentorship platform dedicated to nurturing aspiring DJs and rising talent. Her new mix came together on a long flight home, curated mid-air between continents. In a time of transition, as European summer fades into autumn and spring begins ahead. This is a mix from the in-between. A little on the gentler side: soft in touch, steady in motion, with deep grooves and rolling rhythms. Take a deep breath and enjoy the ride.

After a small summer break we are back with a new deep story. This time its a special emotional mix with an urgent message. We are more than happy to have wilson.solidarity on our podcast series. wilson.solidarity is a German DJ with Bengali roots – a cultural and personal background that deeply shapes his sound. His sets move within the realm of slower, driving techno, often infused with hip-hop influences. His music is never just functional – it tells stories. Stories of identity, resistance and belonging. As an member of the collectives Rebellion der Träumer and Tanz mit den Sternen, he shares his vision of a better world through his music. Music against racism! His set closes with a poem that pays tribute to the victims of the racist attack in Hanau and serves as a reminder that racism is not a distant problem, but a lived reality for many. Kalea is a DJ duo from Berlin that thrills the electronic music scene with its unique mix of deep beats, atmospheric sounds, and groovy rhythms. The name K A L E A comes from Hawaiian and means “full of joy.” It reflects their passion for electronic music and the joy they feel when DJing. Whether at intimate events or large festivals, Kalea Berlin always manages to take the audience on a captivating musical journey. They have already played at numerous well-known events, including Burning Man in the USA, the MIT DIR Festival, and the Tag am Meer Festival. John Rynecki is a deep house DJ and music producer from Chicago and Panama on a mission to make the world a better place. Through the sets he plays and the events he curates, he creates spaces for connection and presence. We got to know Matiso a few years ago when we were planning an event together and have followed his progress with interest ever since. We were particularly impressed by his productions. When we met again last year at the ADE, we realized it was time for a deep story from Matiso. Look forward with us to a varied set with many of his own tracks and some unexpected surprises. Matiso is a melodic house & techno producer & dj from Hamburg, Germany. Starting his professional music production career in 2017, he emerged into djing in 2019. Since then, Matiso is known for creating an outstanding experience with his dj sets. Matiso loves to combine emotional harmonies and atmospheric textures with groovy melodic house & techno elements and always succeeds in delivering an unheard of melodical and emotional journey on the dancefloor.

LOCi lives in Munich and is the resident DJ of the Blütezeit Kollektiv. His sets are genre-fluid and move between Afrohouse, Indie Dance, Techhouse and Techno. His premise is: driving bass, lots of percussion or a dark surprise alongside the happy O-tone. In this way, he creates an atmosphere that shows the diversity of electronic music and allows the dancers to lose themselves in the moment. We became aware of Loci through his wonderful set at last year's Wurzelfestival, which also made it into our “best of festival playlist”. Enjoy the deep story from LOCi!

We got to know Siru and his music last year when he was preparing for a gig at Abstrakt. His mixture of melodic down tempo, dark disco & indie house immediately impressed us. Since then, he has not only played various venues in Berlin, but also celebrated his festival debut at the Mystic Creatures Festival. A set that completely took us away. All this makes us even more excited to present you a deep story from Siru today.

We are happy to present you a very special set today. Our little story begins with our highlight of the festival season. As we unfortunately couldn't be at Fusion in person again this year, we listened relaxed to the live recordings on soundcloud. Like every year, some of the sets stood out and some of the artists came into our focus. One of these recordings is from the "Sonnendeck" on Thursday morning. This set immediately captivated us with its groove and the heavy bounce stayed with us for days. We are happy that Katzenohr wanted to record such an energetic set for our series too. And what can we say, she really delivered. We hope you enjoy this set as much as we do!

San Miguel’s musical signature is defined by his various interests and influences of his travels through time and space which manifests itself into a soundscape of hypnotic spheres and deep driven basses. Welcome to our deep story by Xia Ke. You may find water, fire, earth and air exist simultaneously, glowing light and warmness fading in through darkness and deepness, occasional thorns out of tranquility in both his tracks and sets. It shows his belief in the balance of everything. Within the realm of House to Techno, intertwining world music, especially oriental elements, harnessed by the primordial essence that runs in the blood, pitch them down and attempt to connect the soul to the universe.

Brian Zajak, alias Fejká, began his musical career at the age of 17. Torn between the dreamy, soft atmosphere of ambient music and the hard, punchy vibe of techno, Fejká couldn't decide which direction his music production should take. “Day/night, dream/dance, slow/fast - music was always split into two worlds for me” he says. So he decided to experiment with both. With his sunrise set at this year's Fusion, he took our hearts by storm and we are happy to present his unique style on our channel.

Nic Lorenz is a young DJ and producer from Cologne, Germany. With his groovy and banging sound, he has been tearing up the crowds. With his passion for electronic music and his feel for the perfect groove, Nic Lorenz creates an atmosphere where people can completely immerse themselves in the moment. His sets are characterised by pulsating rhythms, catchy melodies and irresistible bass lines that guarantee a good time on the dance floor.

With a deep passion for the magic of the night, adrija began her musical journey behind the decks in Leipzig in 2020. From late-night practice sessions to small gigs in the surrounding area, her sound has steadily expanded beyond the city's borders. Today, she’s part of the Leipzig collective apostrohé and has found a second home at KataHaifisch. In this set, adrija explores the quieter, more dreamlike corners of her sound, delivering a captivating energy that’s just as mesmerizing as the driving beats of the night. Hailing from the vibrant streets of Acapulco, Mexico, where disco rhythms echoed through our household and nightlife was a way of life, his musical journey ignited. From the pulsating beats of House Music to the ethereal melodies of Trance and the relentless energy of Techno, he immersed himself in the electrifying world of music while navigating through the bustling nightlife scene. I turn the old radio up to full volume and my foot starts to tap. Suddenly the familiar feeling sets in. Happiness hormones flood my body and my stomach tingles. My limbs break out of their dull, brain-controlled shadowy existence and gradually regain their autonomy. The rocking of my foot turns into the first tentative dance steps and my shame-induced resistance fades. A few seconds later, my movements are already flowing and follow an imagined choreography. My spontaneous outburst of enthusiasm paired with the loud music quickly attracts attention. The first people stop and watch with interest. Soon after, I have my first fellow performers on the large meadow that serves as our dance floor. The music attracts more and more passers-by in the park and the meadow gradually fills up. The feeling grows in me that I have attracted all these people with my joy and that they are now sharing it. An incredible euphoria spreads through my body and the spirit of actionism grows within me. Stahler aims to spread joy through creating lofty and floating dark disco & indie dance sounds. His melodic indie dance sets are appreciated for their danceable, yet wobbly and deep sounds infused with tasteful influences from the lively 80s, banging Italo Disco and solid dark disco tunes, covering wide electronic frequency terrains.

Nature pacifies my mind and my soul. I can breathe deeply and let go. The oppressive darkness slowly recedes and warmth rises within me. Inspired by this energy, I glide through the forest. There are still a few places on this planet which almost nobody has seen yet or which are even completely unspoilt by civilization. These remote areas often harbor extremely rare species of animals and plants and tickle the fantasy of some writers. One of these places is the Roraima Tepui, a table mountain with an elevation of 2810 meter, which is located on the frontier of 3 countries : Venezuela, Brazil and Guyana. The first man to climb this mountain was a British explorer in the year 1884. Before that day, nobody had dared to venture into the area out of superstition. Back then, it was rumored that some extinct species of animals actually still lived on this table mountain. Although such a sensational discovery didn’t happen, it must have been an overwhelming feeling to be the very first human being to venture into this hidden world. Every step a new adventure, every exploration without road signs, admiring all these wonders of nature without capturing it with a selfie-stick. Of course the discovery of this unique world did not stay a secret for long. The news of this breathtaking expedition spread quickly and the author of Sherlock Holmes even brought dinosaurs to the Roraima Tepui, at least in his novel ‘The Lost World’. We still have one compelling question about this place : which noises are there to be heard in this remote spot? To answer that question, we think that nobody on this planet is better placed than Vemativ and in this deep story you’ll have the unique opportunity to discover the sound of this unspoilt part of our planet…

Father Ocean" is the fulfillment of a musical promise to humbly thank and honor the powerful and cathartic depths of the sea. A tale of a man in need of guidance who is called into the water and gets caught in a magnificent oceanic storm. Rain starts to pour down, washing away his penumbra by bringing discernment about what is not Love. Meanwhile, the waves hit him fiercely like the primal confrontation with his own shadow, making up the perfect scenario for him to amusingly research the depths of his core. By embracing his shadows and feeling the power of gravity on his shoulders, he understands he has been carrying the weight of his unconscious limiting beliefs. As they are brought to the light of awareness, they lose strength over him. This realization is so cathartic that the storm suddenly ceases, and the sun starts to shine again. As it always does... But this time it reminds him that, sometimes, Love shines brightest in the dark. So, he found his way back to the land. As he steps again on firm soil, he looks back at the ocean and bows in gratitude and reverence for having found the guidance he so much needed within himself. He then makes a promise and leaves, knowing the path he is to take. When listening to Ezio Aguiar's sets, regardless of tempo or genre, one notices a particular mysticism mixed with different organic, melodic and progressive elements. He would call himself a believer in the healing and connecting power of music and dance. I find myself dancing in a colorful room. I can't see any walls anywhere and yet it feels like I'm inside a building. It seems as if the room is so big that you simply can't see the walls. Lights in all the colors of the rainbow are raining down from the ceiling. Well, actually, I can't really see the ceiling either. I just assume that there is a ceiling behind all the lights. The bodies of dozens of figures are moving around me, but no one seems to be interacting with me. No matter which way I turn, everyone has their backs to me as they twitch ecstatically to the music.I shrug my shoulders and just keep dancing. The exploration of the deeper side of techno by Dosem, since busting onto the scene almost 10 years ago, has seen him clock up countless air miles, release a string of hit club tracks and earn accolades from many of his peers, who deem him to be one of the most influential underground Spanish DJs in the scene today. The demand for Dosem's infusion of deep textured sounds, relentless precision drums and driving rhythms which make up his club cuts that are making dance floors shake the world over shows no sign of slowing. Here are modern urban myths that stand the test of time and are considered unspoken truths. Nowhere written down, they are passed on from mouth to ear and only exist in people's heads. They persist and are part of the respective culture. There are also stories like this in the electro scene that fire people's imagination. The parties at Warehouse Chicago in the late 70s are considered the mother of all house parties. Animalistic scenes were said to have taken place there while Frankie Knuckles rained down his marathon sets on the crowd. Pure ecstasy rippled through the bodies of those present and the crowd was no longer made up of individuals, but was one big energy-filled being that had developed an uncontrollable life of its own. A movement emerged that anyone could belong to and which was referred to as "Jack" in later tracks. The urban legend of Jack is still used in tracks and mixtapes today. Of course, this is just one of many myths that have developed in electronic dance music. Perhaps with the deep story of Pia Pan & Heyoka we will be able to create a new modern myth that will bring people together again and let them melt into ecstasy. A mixtape that fires people's imagination and will be the subject of many myths in the future.

In the evenings, there's a stiff breeze and the whistling that sweeps through the leaves of the trees signals the dark season. On the one hand effervescent, on the other emphatically in love with detail, he enchants and gently accompanies the slowly tiring spirits into the early dawning cold. Aka-Tony developed a deep passion for vinyl during his younger years and resumed his DJing journey in 2018 after taking a longer break. Since then, he has established himself as a well-known figure in the downtempo and slow tech podcasting community, releasing numerous works that have gained a tiny bit of recognition here and there. A regular contributor to GDS.FM, Aka-Tony takes pleasure in performing at great venues. Besides; he is curating the Aka-Tapes and Slomosensual podcast series and the Down to Earth party format. He describes his music as "Crowntempo" - a captivating fusion of bass-heavy, danceable electronic tunes with a disco influence and an irresistible grooves.

Joeski’s trajectory can be traced back to 1991, when he burst onto the NYC house music scene as a founding member of The Chocolate Factory DJ collective. He delighted crowds at Limelight, Tunnel, Palladium and NASA, helped turn “Save The Robots” into a NYC afterhours institution and earned his first residency at “Together” parties at the legendary Roxy, playing alongside the likes of Danny Tenaglia, Louie Vega and Roger Sanchez. Joeski accompanies you and wants to bring you a little closer to this world. He conducts in the background and yet is always present. The selected pieces of music are masterfully coordinated and draw a path through the supposed confusion. The rhythms and melodies guide you like an invisible red thread and yet leave room for your own explorations in this soundscape.

For many years now, I have been wandering through the wilderness as a lonely adventurer. Always in search of my destiny. With the sun setting the pace for my journey into the unknown, I roamed mountains and valleys, rivers and lakes, forests and steppes. The tranquillity seduced me to live now and the wisdom of nature moved me to stay. Out here I could experience what beauty means, but also how brutal life can be. My surroundings taught me to stay alert, which opened my eyes. Now I perceive things that are beyond normality. Single inconspicuous sounds can now give me more sense of security than an hour-long conversation among friends. My mind is in tune with flora and fauna. A blind understanding developed, guided by gestures instead of words. I was able to learn a lot about myself and my environment and come to terms with myself. Feelings of happiness now flow more regularly through my nerve cords and soften my petrified expression here and there. But the feeling of loneliness creeps back into my heart. Especially on days like these... I raise my flask and drink to another anniversary. The DJ and producer duo Bergstock, consisting of Lukas and Kevin, come from Cologne and specialise in melodic techno. Their sound is characterised by deep emotional moments as well as punchy highlights. This is exactly the mixture they present in the 200th edition of our podcast.

Fiona has developed a distinctive style, mixing an Afro-house vibe and progressive beats with euphoric breaks.
