    Ep. 20: Fun Employment

We talk with Josh Abrams, founder of Just Liberty, Inc, and plaintiff in a current lawsuit against the Colorado Department of Labor. We discus inequitable access to legal representation, the ways you have contort yourself to access our dogshit unemployment system, and break the story on the US Bank reliacard racket. You are a serf. Start throwing potatoes. Learn more about Just Liberty, Inc here: https://truejust.org/ Music by Srrealist

Ep. 19: Come all of you, good drummers-The Notes of Dissent Interview

They say in Denver County, there are no neutrals there. We're joined by Birb, Lemon, and Nathan from the soundtrack to your protests, Notes of Dissent! We fight through recording issues and funky pauses to have a truly fun conversation about Notes' origin story, the relationship between music and protest movements, and fit it some Martin Luther talk. We also talk about Notes of Dissent all banger, all the time playlist and get into some Real Music Theory talk. Episode was originally recorded *before* No Kings Two (where Notes of Dissent was present, of course). Be sure to come out to the Notes of Dissent concert at the Boulder Public Library Saturday, October 25th at 10:30. Ep. 18: DSA: Another World is Possible

We talk with Claire and Andrew from Denver DSA about the history of the America's largest socialist organization, what our own local chapter is getting up to, and much more. Do you have to be a Bernie Bro to join DSA? No. Do you have to know Roberts Rules of Order? No, but it won't hurt if you do. What will your family think if you're a card-carrying socialist? You'll finally earn your father's acceptance. Still don't know if it's pee-ka or pi-ka. Like, subscribe, hit the tipline (970) 716-1702. Thanks again to Claire and Andrew! Ep. 17: Let them eat Krispy Kreme

The government is shut down and the 16th street mall reopens. Coincidence? We bust open the blue books (Yes on LL and MM), shill for the Wolf license plate, and fear for the City of Denver’s proprietary Roko’s Basilisk. Then we discuss the surprising results from a Colorado Polling Institute survey of Denver voters, namely that socialism is more popular than capitalism and the DPD only has a 51% approval rating. Also conservatives continue to be little bitches scared of their own shadows. We also do some genuine reporting and break the news that Mayor Mike Johnston and his 46% approval rating does not bring enough donuts to his constituent events. The Gaza Flotilla sank in the Mediterranean and ICE is doing War on Terror type shit in Illinois, but the President’s son got some strange, so, you know, a mixed bag. Like, rate, subscribe, call the tipline ((970) 716-1702)). Music by srrealist

Ep. 16: Communists? In this economy??

We sit down for an interview with Denver Communists member Ben for a discussion about the C-Word. No, not that one. Ben gives us a primer on what communism is, talks about some of Den Comm’s recent projects, and finally tells us why Communists like newspapers so much. Learn more about Denver Communists here: https://denvercommunists.org/ Is there a Stakhanovite in your shop? Is your bathroom breeding Bolsheviks? Call our tipline and let us know! (970) 716-1702

Ep. 15: The Dorian Grey Interview: No Concentration Camps in Colorado

Dorian Grey stops by to tell us about the No Concentration Camps in Colorado movement. We talk about the reprehensible plan to expand ICE’s presence in Colorado, NCCC’s demands, and how you can get involved to keep the pressure on our elected officials. On top of all that, we survive a Polis-orchestrated cyber attack, Dorian’s cat drops in for a guest spot, and there’s more vampire talk than you were probably expecting. Link to No Concentration Camps in Colorado website: https://nocampscolorado.org/ Correction: Dorian was interviewed by Denverite, not the Denver Post. The Post couldn’t handle the smoke.

Ep. 14: Ms. Gardener Goes to the City and County Building

We got involved in some Real Constituent Service Hours this week and shoutout the noble municipal workers keeping this city together. We also praise the student walkouts following the Evergreen shooting and consider the pitfalls of planning anything in Colorado in the fall. Our news of the week includes the bone chilling ICE recruiting commercials that are straight out of Starship Troopers, the historically illiterate banner hung over I-25 asking for Jim Crow to come back to Colorado, and ask ourselves why everyone cares so much about their parents’ favorite late night hosts. Your Congressional Democrats continue to be feckless cowards, and yes, Grindr did crash in Arizona at Kirkapalooza,. Anyone who's seen the bison at the wildlife refuge is a Menshivk stooge. Like, subscribe, leave a comment, call the tipline, just whatever you do, don’t join ICE. We know you were thinking about it. Listen on Apple Listen on Spotify Listen on YouTube Insider info on the elusive bison at the Rocky Mountain Arsenal? Got a wild Charlie Kirk conspiracy theory that your friends are sick of hearing? Know who hung that pro-Jim Crow banner over I-25? Hit the tipline: (970) 716-1702‬

Ep. 13: Charlie Don't Surf or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Groypers

It was a busy and tragic week, and now all our moms are asking us what Groypers are. We discuss the all-too-quotidian reaction to the school shooting in Evergreen, the Charlie Kirk shooting, and give an update on the Aurora PD shooting. Congressional candidate Carter Hanson joins us for a lively and informative discussion about his story, his vision for CO-1, and why Diana should, in fact, De-Gette-out. Also, Nepal had a discord coup, and Jair Bolsonaro has the worst fu*king attorneys. Link to Carter's Website: https://www.carteradoteam.org/ Call the tipline!: (970) 716-1702‬

Ep. 12: Los Seis de Boulder

Sometimes there's a man, well, he's the man for his time and place. He fits right in there. Joseph Dzhugashvili was one of the most ideological men in the Georgian SSR, which would put him high in the running for most ideological worldwide. The liberals were out in force for labor day, and you know what, maybe that's okay. We follow up on the increasingly concerning Aurora Police shooting, welcome Waymo to Denver's roads (jk gtfo), and do a quick Polis Patrol and Wolf Watch. We then continue our discussion of the UMAS movement from two weeks back and do a deep dive on one of the more shocking (and underreported) chapters in Colorado history: Los Seis de Boulder. The tip line is active! Leave us a message about your erotic infatuation with Blucifer, tell us what you think is really under DIA (Bill Clinton's sex luggage from 1996), or give us a warning about the DPD helicopters that are gang stalking you. Call in at ‪(970) 716-1702‬, the lines. are. open.

Ep. 11: Canis Lupus Ad Victoriam

Did It Happen? Many people are asking! CG offers some constructive feedback for local organizers at the top (6:14) as we cover a busy protest week. Then we talk about our crypto techbro governor and his slavish devotion to both AI and budget cuts (26:54), remind ourselves that the rich really are different from you and me (they have all their teeth) (45:10), and an *officer-involved shooting* in Aurora (51:19) and more. If you don't like the wolves, we don't like you.

Ep. 10: The Chicano Movement Pt. 1?

This episode *is* a week late, but it's one of our more informative ones. We never claimed to be punctual. Since this was originally recorded two Sundays ago, the weekly lookback stuff is out of date, but there were three (3!) Palantir protests. We also discuss the proposed Denver 9 and Fox 31 merger and offer Kyle Clark a job, the re-emergence of Tina Peters on the President's Truth Social feed, and the legislature's special session. Ryan Armagost, your political career is dead, bye byeeee bitch. Our main story is an eat-your-vegetables type parsing of one of the West's most important social movements: The Chicano Movement. It's a large and important topic which we hope to cover in more depth in later episodes, but who can tell what the morning brings. Happy Labor Day, ya'll. https://www.historycolorado.org/press-release/2015/03/25/latino-students-denvers-west-high-walked-out-week-1969-protest https://www.denverpost.com/2025/08/21/colorado-house-ryan-armagost-censure/ https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2025/aug/24/palantir-artificial-intelligence-civil-rights https://coloradosun.com/2025/08/22/colorado-democrats-condemn-nexstar-tegna-merger/

    Ep. 9: It's Not Delivery, It's D'Jounralism

The dog days are here, folks, and we’ve all spent too much time in the sun. We ask where the piss and vinegar from the beginning of the summer went and do our contractually-mandated bitching about our shitty rich Governor who we all hate (4:20). How good is Florence and the Machine, tho? The woke liberal media is lying to us: the Cheesecake Factory is nothing more than an elevated Applebee’s. Speaking of the woke liberal media, we discuss the pros and cons of Capital J Journalism (36:54), try to unpack the truth behind the “Rage Against the Regime” protest scuffle, and offer our apologies to Westword’s Bennito Kelty. This is, after all, a truth-seeking/comedy true crime podcast for entertainment purposes only, which means you can’t sue us. Also, we are broke. Weekly lookahead at 1:14:18. Leave a comment if this episode made you mad, sad, happy, or horny.

Ep. 8: ACAB but the C is for both Colorado and Cops at the same time

AJ is out for the week (definitely not at the Texas School Book Depository) Constant Gardener weighs the pros and cons of Jan. 6-ing the Denver DSA. (7:30) Bug has a bone to pick with Bennito Kelty’s coverage of the happenings at the Rage Against the Regime protest. (10:34) We discuss the finer points of ACAB, complete with some statistics on police killings in Colorado that may surprise you (derogatory.) (19:35) We review a few standout cases of murder by cop in the Denver area. Request for mutual aid: Anndrec Lewis’ husband Kilyn Lewis was shot and killed by Aurora Police in May 2024. She is currently facing financial hardship and needs our help. Please consider sending some money to her Cashapp $DrecyLewis.

  14. 7

    Ep. 7: Do BetterDnvr....do better

Anyone hear from Paul Ryan lately? We talk about the Rage Against the Regime demonstration and the week that was (5:09) before tackling the narc-ass, snitch-ass, nimby-ass Do Better Denver instagram psychos (29:23) and broach The Arizona Question. We wrap up with a look at some exciting non-protest events coming up this week (59:04)

  15. 6

    Ep. 6: Camps Out

We return from our all-too-short summer break. We open with our standard recap protest recaps (1:00), talk about the No Concentration Camps in Colorado Campaign (20:50) with a brief interstitial on Jared Polis's failed Bridge to Nowhere (30:00-35:11) and close with a look at the week ahead. Keep these facilities out, ya'll. No Concentration Camps in CO Discord Link: https://discord.gg/ZJhtsjybnA

  16. 5

Ep. 5: Palantir: Ringwraiths for ICE

One of the most evil companies going is nestled right here in our backyard! We talk about the previous week's demonstrations (1:00) before tackling Palantir (16:50) and take a look at what is shaping up to be a busier week in the scene (44:55). If you work at Palantir, quit.

  17. 4

Ep. 4: Wrecker? I hardly know her!

Let's get Wrecked. Like that picture of Jack Nicholson at the end of The Shining, 4th of July Weekend had weird vibes. We talk about the protests and demonstrations of the previous week (1:04) before cribbing from the CIA Sabotage Field Manual for a fun talk about wreckers and their dirty tricks (18:53). We close with a discussion of the week's upcoming protests (54:41). Much love and congratulations to SEIU and Safeway workers on the concessions won in their strike. https://www.cia.gov/static/5c875f3ec660e092cf893f60b4a288df/SimpleSabotage.pdf

  18. 3

    Ep.3: Chinga La Migra

We talk about the vigils in support of Jeanette Vizguerra in anticipation of next week's Unified Vigil. We do a brief recap of Ms. Vizguerra's story (4:30), what these vigils have been like for the past 16 weeks (9:39), and talk about the upcoming Vigil (24:30) this Monday, July 7 from 3-8. Hope to see everyone out there this Monday. https://www.ice.gov/detain/detention-facilities/aurora-contract-detention-facility https://www.democracynow.org/2025/5/28/jeanette_vizguerra https://www.cbsnews.com/colorado/news/jeanette-vizguerra-immigrant-rights-activist-fighting-deportation-denver/ Also I know the Time Magazine thing was 2017 not 2007.

    Ep. 2: Hot Strike Summer

Another June, another Pride Month in the books. We discuss last week's demonstrations, bitch about a certain beverage company using the pride parade to hawk their shitty hard seltzer, and talk about some actually cool and good people taking over the main stage at Civic Center (1:10). Then we talk about the Safeway (and possibly King Soopers) strikes, how you can support striking workers, and ask the question: General Strike, is it good? (26:40). We wrap with a look at upcoming protests and get hungry for The People's Hotdogs (40:24) https://www.seiu105.org https://aflcio.org https://uaw.org https://teamster.org https://www.iww.org https://www.denver7.com/money/consumer/union-representing-safeway-workers-headed-back-to-the-bargaining-table-friday-ufcw-local-7-president-says https://www.denver7.com/news/local-news/protesters-interrupt-denver-pridefest-to-express-solidarity-with-palestine-highlight-stonewall-anniversary https://www.cpr.org/2025/06/27/denver-pride-2025/
