Digital Literacy Beyond the Device: More Than Just the Tools
by Paula
This podcast is about how my thinking around digital literacy has changed during this module. I used to focus mostly on the practical side of technology in the classroom. Now I see it as something more complicated, connected to ethics, privacy, equity and the wider system schools operate in. I also bring in my experience teaching in China, which made me realise that digital literacy depends a lot on context. For me, it is no longer just about tools, but about the decisions we make as educators.

Digital Literacy and Teacher Responsibility
This episode grows out of my experience this semester as an MYP Design teacher, where I had to introduce digital tools in a structured way and saw how differently students respond when technology is introduced too early or without guidance. I connect this to the Inspire Learning case and wider questions about privacy, equity and commercial influence in education.ReferencesHobbs, R.
